antonio You really stand out from most content creators. Especially these days people are doing crazy things for youtube. For the Views more explicit content and its crazy. You just do Boring videos like Just about bags, shoes No clickbait whatsoever, Just 100% boring informative videos dont know how youll take this but I personally love it I just feel mature for a moment😂 Please keep doing more of this Timeless content. 5yrs later people will still be coming over to know howto go about a suit, how to choose a back pack etc. Be blessed👍
My go-to has been a messenger bag, I find myself having to grab things quickly from my bag, I swing the bag to the front, grab the item I need, and swing it back. I don't think I'll ever return to using a regular backpack.
Same here; a broad strapped messenger bag works well on the go for me. I admit though that I’m considering a good bag pack for overseas travel so thank you for this video Antonio.
My 'Go to" bag is an old leather messenger bag from Office Depot that I got about 20 years ago. It has pockets for everything! It even came with a separate laptop bag that would fit inside this bag. Of course it is absolutely huge. But that is another reason I got it - to keep management at bay. (They had a wierd policy that stated they had permission to go through personal items if they wanted. Yes, I bought this bag to use while I looked for another job. But that's another story for another day.)
My go to has been a satchel style laptop bag for years, at Christmas my wife got me a super nice backpack and I have been using it everyday since, It's just a far more comfortable way to carry things around.. It does mean I carry my jacket separately of course
Since 8 years I use an old Wenger Backpack. Important is their„Shock absorbing Technology“. One day in office with Notebook, next day service call with all my tools in my backpack
How great that men have reached out saying they don't want to use animal products! My husband isn't vegan or anything, but over the years when he's needed a new wallet or belt, I've bought him ones that are made of cork. Classic black, sleek design, made in Portugal, and all these items still look new even today. He loves them. I haven't explored men's bags in cork, but I'm sure they're out there. Sometimes synthetic is just what you need, but there are also a lot of eco faux leather products that have been developed recently. These days there are definitely choices for anyone opting out of leather🤘🤘
My go to has been a Nutsac laptop bag for the past two years or so. Functional, stylish and built with high quality materials that will last many more years to come.
I work in the Tech field and go between a Backpack from the Company Timbuk 2 when Im in a more pure Biz causal style or I use a Kenneth Cole messager bag when I need to be more formal. I am manager for this company and do my best to look the part so my reps know that I respect our work environment. The Backpack definitely provides alot of freedom when if I need to be on the move for a large part of my day.
Because I rarely go to the office any more, my main bag is a camera bag. I use the Nomatic McKinnon because it is extra durable for hiking but looks great if I'm photographing a symphony. It has magnetic flaps that cover the pockets so you can access them easily if I need to grab a battery. And the dividers can be adjusted so I can fit the gear I happen to be carrying at the time. I trust it to hold $10k worth of gear if it happens to fall off a table. But it also isn't flashy with big labels or brand marks so it isn't a magnet for thieves.
...and I thought *I* had too many bags! My goto right now is a black Kenneth Cole Reaction leather backpack for the everyday laptop carry --- basically a fancy lunch bag, lol.
My go-to bag is by Nomatic. I'm using it since around 3 years and it combines high practicability and capacity to easily store enough for a long day while still loking professional. Can highly recommend the brand.
Every year our university gives out "Swiss Army" bags with a Dell laptop to use while we are in school there. The bags are SHARP looking, and we get a different one every year. All the years I've been there I have gotten nice looking "Backpacks".
Great video Antonio-I’ve been enjoying your channel content and applying it to my lifestyle-yes, gents I’m a woman, relax I’m not trying to take your masculinity-it’s okay for women to learn about how men style themselves and what products they enjoy using. I like the Ezri Executive backpack.
@@philipbacani9400 Yeah but I don't make bags... I made a few hand bags and one purse for my better half. But that's it. I honestly made it out of shear frustration because I couldn't find something that was both high quality and had the features I wanted.
I carry a leather messenger bag. Brass fasteners with a separate zippered pocket inside for my tablet and a zippered pocket on the outside for quick need items.
That's a nice bag and I'll look into it. I've been looking for something like that for a long time. I've been making do with bugout bag for years and have gone through quite a few. I've found the ones made by Spec-Ops Brand are the best when it comes to durability and comfort. The shoulder harness has the nice wide padded straps that don't cut into your shoulders like cheaper bags do when loaded. As for rivets, you have to be careful because a well-stitched stress-point will hold up much better than rivets. I've had more rivets to fail than stitching and since then I've always avoided anything riveted except for Levis. Stitching and rivet combinations are okay but rivets by themselves is a failure waiting to happen and it will happen. Great video and look forward to the next one.
I’m in a transition. For over a decade I have used some great Swiss Gear backpacks that let me take everything in them, including bringing in leftovers to eat for lunch multiple times per week. I’m trying to carry less unneeded things now so I’m looking for a smaller bag especially as when I normally use a bag it’s for a business trip where I am in a suit. I love the bags I have now and they work great for my normal or casual functions, but I need a better bag that works with my change in job roles.
I’m asking peoples recommendations for a professional lunch box. I just got out of the military and began working a “professional environment”. I’m using my 511 backpack to carry my daily essential. That also include a 64oz flask and food containers. I’m looking to find something that blends in better with my business casual attire. Any suggestions?
For work I have a leather messenger bag which is perfect for my work needs, otherwise for out and about with the kids, walking or as a carry on I use synthetic back pack again perfect for what I use it for
I am definitely going to get an Ezri pack. Need something solid for when a suitcase is impractical and so is a messenger bag or briefcase. My go to is a one compartment plain black Herschel I got on sale that I use on shopping trips and for carrying my groceries home on foot. I also have Herschels in blue camo synthetic (for fun activities) and a rougher wool tartan version for winter. I also use my tan, top opening, heavyweight leather cashiers case that I used in the army that has the Canadian government logo stamped on it, on occasion. Not something seen every day and it definitely garners attention. Plus it’s sentimental for me as I actually used it in my former job. Subtle way to convey Vet status without coming right out and saying it. Gets people to ask, “Did/Do you work for the government?” which then opens the conversation door. It makes a great lunchbox! 😀
I was carrying a maxpedition sling bag that doubled as a diaper bag to work. I’ve also taken my Klein Canvas work bag as a luggage bag. At this point, I am looking for a satchel.
I use a small Swiss Gear bag for work it's gotten too small for my materials now. For gym and every day I use a backpack one I got 9yrs ago I don't remember the brand but it's got enough space I can take all my stuff with me
Those are some nice bags tony, I have a small leather satchel but it needs replacing and a large leather weekender that I love, I need a decent suitcase and not really a back pack guy.
I am a college student, in the past, my go-to bag was the XD Design Bobby Original, I bought when its name was still called Montmartre. Nice bag for my everyday use. But the recent day I just bought the bobby Bizz also from XD design, which is kind of similar to the EZRI Elite which also can easily change between a briefcase, messenger bag, and backpack, kind of versatile and could fit in with the different outfits. Plus, its shape just looks better for me since I love its square look, will become my current go-to bag now.
I have a nice leather messenger bag I used when I was still going into the office but since covid I have been working from home and i'm just not using it anymore. I have been looking for a nice backpack to replace my old adidas gym bag. This video was helpful I like the ezri executive, I like that minimal simple design. Antonio, great video as always I would appreciate one of your coins as well. thanks!
😂 😂 😂 We on the same page I walked in basement jeesh I need to stop buying bags like seriously I have large bags small bags and I have mostly designer bags so I don't wanna throw them out 🤷♂️ 🤦♂️
I used to have a Patagonia pack that I used for about 10 years. The zippers finally went out and it was worn so I had to retire it. I refuse to buy Patagonia anymore because of some political stances they have so looked elsewhere. I bought a Lowe Alpine day pack and it's been ok for about 2 years, but it's rather small and doesn't have a water bottle holder, so I'm looking for something new. I bought a cotopaxi pack that I thought would be more like the Patagonia, but it's way too bright for work, plus it's very thin, so looking for something more toned down to bring to the office. Finding the right pack can be hard.
RMRS - I've been Rucking it with you since your early days and my daily bag of choice is the Tumi 3 in 1, it's a briefcase, messager/travel bag, and a backpack all rolled into one. In Washington DC you have to come correct with your business style and your bag is one key piece to your whole look..... Also, where can I get one of the RMRS challenge coins? I would love to pull the RMRS Coin out on a coin check at the Shelly's Back Room on F Street, it would blow the other government challenge coins out of the water...
I really love that you pointed out the ethical issues around leather and other animal based materials. This is really important to me. And besides the ethical issues, leather has a very big environmental footprint as well.
It took you a LONG WHILE to realize that backpacks are the way to go now. You pushed messenger bags because the look of a backpack wasn't "professional" before. Now we know that wearing a suit is often a strike against you. Casual is the only way now.
I’m not keen on the design, and at $350 - $400 I don’t think they’re worth it, I have around 9-10 bags, 5 of them backpacks as I live in the Lake District, if I’m dressing smart casual to formally I’d never use a backpack, and this year my go to has been a small lightweight pack just to carry a snack and drink while out walking the fells, sorry these aren’t for me.
A backpack is a tacky style choice no matter how you try to frame it. Students, hikers and tourists wear backpacks. Grown stylish men use something else, no matter how much the product placement sponsor pays.
Sorry, no. Carry this with a suit and you can just leave the suit at home. Is it practical, yes, but so are white socks and sneakers. No serious suit wears a backpack.
Do you really use a bagpack? All stylish youtubers say it is something to avoid and recommend to use a briefcase instead. I'm confused and tired of sponsored videos/commercials

Leather is a by product of the food industry. It is more eco friendly than synthetic materials which are all types of plastics.

I disagree, backpacks are appropriate throughout college and thats it. After that you need a more classy bag
Thats cool, but my $30 SHIEN backpack is lasting close to 3 years now
Poor me - having only 1 bag in my house. That too got tared 🥲
