LDG Channel Vol.12は、先日DOMMUNEで行われたLabel ShowcaseよりTakumi Inamotoをフックアップ。
今週末に野外パーティを控えたTranscendenceの軸となるTakumi InamotoとLDGについて焦点をあてる。LDGが発足した2016年より以前、レーベル設立者のYUTAがゴアトランスのアーティストとして活動していた時代の音源を、Takumi Inamotoはテクノと解釈してそれらをプレイする、YUTAにとって大きな衝撃だった。現行テクノシーンでも北欧を筆頭に各地でこういった現象が見られる中、日本ではTranscendenceが国内シーンを先行しており、そのTakumi Inamotoによるトランスとテクノのコントラストを見事に表現したセットをお届けする。
LDG Channel Vol. 12, we hooked up with Takumi Inamoto from the LDG Label Showcase held recently at DOMMUNE. Takumi Inamoto, the core of Transcendence, which will be holding an open air party this weekend.
It was a big shock for us to listen Takumi Inamoto play Retro Trance as Techno, a music that label founder YUTA had played in his days as a Goa Trance artist. Transcendence is leading the domestic scene in Tokyo, and we present a set by Takumi Inamoto that beautifully expresses the contrast between Trance and Techno.
