I know it's been two years, but try calling a restaurant. We used to throw out so much cardboard. The amount was so astronomical that the owner was guilted into paying for a recycling bin.

Likewise, they don't usually have crossbars. And there is a very simple reason for both cases: not to make the equipment a guillotine. In this video, PVC bars were used for the base and a cardboard cross bar. Ok, these materials may not kill your cat, but can eventually hurt it. And some viewer may reproduce the idea of the video using dangerous materials, such as wood, metal, rigid plastic or others.
