- This day I went to do a #citytour in #apachejunctionaz and I found a #horserescue This was an amazing adventure and awesome to see what Apache Junction Arizona is really like. I learned a lot and I think anyone wanting to get a real feel on a true Southwest AZ town and culture is like... you will definitely get that here. I'm hoping that lots of people go to this Horse Rescue in Arizona and help where you can. Enjoy! This is one of my favorite vlogs.

If you want to know what it's like to live in Phoenix, AZ you are in the right place and the only place to learn the Truth. Everything you need and want to know about Phoenix Arizona and surrounding if you are visiting, living in or moving to Arizona or considering living in Arizona.
I've been living in Arizona since 1999. I've lived in Scottsdale, AZ. I've lived in Phoenix, AZ. I've lived in Avondale, AZ. I've live in Goodyear, AZ. I've also worked in the entire valley. I know the entire Maricopa County very well.
Anyone who starves or harms an Animal is a very sick individual . It is proof of how low their mentality really is . Thank God for these wonderful people. They are Angels . All ANIMALS deserve love and kindness . 🐕🐈🐎🐇🐏🐇
What about the ones we eat? :(

Maria is the best!! She does amazing work on her ranch. She is a blessing for all these horses
She has passed away as of last week Monday.
I STUMBLED UPON YOU, I GOT GOOSE BUMPS WATCHING YOU AT THE HORSE FARM. THIS IS THE AMERICA I WAS TO SEE. THANKS SO MUCH, OH AND IM GONNA GET LOST DOWN THE UA-cam RABBIT HOLE FOR A FEW DAYS WATCHING YOUR STUFF. JUST THINK HOW GREAT THIS COUNTRY WOULD BE IF EVERYONE HAD INTERACTION LIKE YOU JUST DID. I CAN DREAM OF A WORLD WHERE WE ARE ALL JUST PEOPLE.
Are you in Arizona
I feel the same way.👏🏻❤️
Growing up in Arizona taught me 1 VERY important thing from a young age & it was that you don’t judge . Everywhere we looked was soo diverse and everyone saw each other as a person and not by the color of their skin or what language that they spoke . It was never a thought . You just lived and let live !! Mind your business and keep yourself in check !!! Life is good 👍 😊
I moved to AJ from NY two years ago, and everything I heard was negative. I have found almost everything I was told was false, it has been amazing. Thank you for highlighting my new home!
Thanks for sharing!
It has changed so much out here in the last 10-15 years. I love AJ now. Nothing beats the Superstition Mountain.
Welcome new nehibor👍🏻
I’m so glad to hear that!
@@melaniesipe60 it is AZ.... Not AJ
Yep. You have a new subscriber. 1)You have the kindest eyes. And 2)to take and show interest in that horse rescue, when it’s probably something that has never been on your radar, is what makes you such a special person. You’re drawn to other acts of kindness and compassion. I tell you what. Admittedly I’ve only watched two videos so far but I am already a huge fan. I wish you much success in whatever you do. I hope those in your life realize how fortunate they are to be a part of your world. Much love!!!!!!!!
Very true, I think you must be a lovely person too say such beautiful things
Apache Junction has been my home my whole life. I never plan to leave. I sell Real Estate all over the Valley and my some clients are surprised I choose to be here. People always have something bad to say. I tell them don’t believe everything you hear. Thanks for visiting!
My son lives in Gilbert . I just told him about this video. He’s from Los Angeles and just moved to AZ. He loves horses since he was a baby. Thank you for this video and your service .
Gilbert is a nice area.
As someone who grew up in Gilbert, he probably picked one of the best places to live in the nation
Filene this very close to Aj I’m on the lossy road higley road going east after higley we r into mesa again for couple miles off free way then apache junction our Gilbert city is just a few miles exit maybe 5/6 exits off the free way and u gotta go south right off because going north ur mesa
This is an amazing video! I love how you interacted with those great folks and the horses! They ARE Good Shepherds! KUDOS to you for hanging with them!!!
God bless people that respect animals , wild and domestic!
As a dog lover I was shocked when I first heard about horses and other large animals suffering abuse. Very sad and always happy to see people trying to help with this problem.
Theres the Law known to All..an theres ARIZONA'S LAW .The only State that runs if both laws whenever .The only state that's the CAUSE of their own homelessness,an PROFITS HUGE
I'm tripping, I really loved this post about the horses. I'm e visited A.J. many times and never seen so many interesting things. Thanks, continue the great works
THIS IS MY HOMETOWN AND I WILL ALWAYS BACK AJ UP. ITS AMAZING AND THE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING. GREAT JEEP TRAILS :) its amazing. thank you for taking the time to explore apache junction. Silly mountain is amazing. :)
as soon as i say the #horserescue i knew exactly which place you were going to. Mrs Maria is a beyond wonderful woman, i worked for her for awhile and the care she has for those animals is beyond immaculate, her sense of humor is so great and she’s such a precious soul 😭
Wow! Travel is so educational. Love the work that the Horse Rescue folks are doing with the abused 🐴 🐴 horses. These are special people.
Beautiful horses! So sad people mistreated these beautiful animals. Thankfully there’s help.
I’m speechless. Incredible story. God bless the people at the Horse Rescue and blessings to you Big Super for being out there and bringing us this content.
I've lived in Apache Junction AZ for 30 years now yes that is a real stage coach. Goldfield Ghost Town does stage coach ride. You ain't living until you go on a stage coach ride.
I have to go and check that out!
He’s right big super!!! Aaron is my brother in law you need to check out the ghost town or even go ride the Dolly steam boat at Canyon lake.... love ya brother.
Definitely have to check out the mine at ghost town. Watch out for the bats!
Only thing I ever heard about Apache Junction was trailer parks and meth. Was really nice to see this side of it. You don't judge people by their covers, you give them the opportunity to show who they are. Need more of that in the world today. The music and the horses were really calming too. Great vid!
Apache junctions a horrible place tell your friends and family lol heck tell the snow birds please lol. I love people have a poor opinion of the junction it keeps it from being overcrowded. Down town is not Apache junction.
I will attest to the fact that Apache Junction is in the process of being upgraded yet NOT built up like Mesa and Tempe.
There are parts of AJ that if you don't live there please be careful before entering ,it can get a little scary. For the most part it's quite and beautiful especially at night.
@@tonitalamantez2870 I lived in aj for 20 yes and never was afraid in any neighborhood
These people are pretty good at showing Aj in the Positive! But take it from someone who owns a business there for 10 years. The Town is Full of Racists. I'm talking about Mississippi type Racists.
I lived in Apache junction since 1999, most of my whole life and I am almost 28 years old! When I was 7-10 years old I remember climbing about half the Superstition Mountain! I am off ironwood and Broadway.
This man Big Super got heart! Gotta love that! He gets props in any hood he visits!
Thanks Big Super! AJ has had a bad reputation in the past but like any city or town it has it's good parts and bad parts. I love living here in AJ it's so beautiful. You need to check out the rest of AJ. The mountain and the lakes our breath taking. AJ in my opinion is the best town around!
I agree with everything you said I lived here my whole life and there is nothing better than this little town
Yes! The views at Prospector Park, Goldfield Ghost Town, the trails, our Parks and Rec events, even the library is cool. 😎
Beautiful people. I will share the information, pray on it... then perhaps send a modest donation
GREAT WORK SID
Much appreciated
Well, I finally found my most sweetest UA-cam Channel! I LOVE how you were afraid of the Horses at first, but by the time you left you were like lovin' all of them and making new friends with them, and also making new friends with the People of AJ. God Bless take good care of yourself my friend. From Chandler Az.
Those are some nice people to take care of all those horses.
Thank you
Love seeing THIS side of living here in Arizona. True Western Living and how the people were so welcoming to you. If anyone is looking for the number one vlogger to tell AND SHOW us all about Arizona, you're the one to come to. Plus your music choices fit perfectly - drawing us right into the atmosphere.
Much appreciated Holly. I glad you like the vid...
I live few miles from there, on the very edge of Mesa. Moved here from Florida half year ago. I love the mountains! They give me peace.
I love this tour, she rescue abused horses wow what a huge heart for such
a small woman, to witness this is a blessing, and big super God led you
through this journey for one I don't believe in coincidences God is good!
I moved from Phoenix to AJ a year ago. I love it here. Cleaner air, nice people. No traffic! No gunshots! And a HUGE piece of property for next to nothing.
It still does down in AJ every once in awhile, at least by the border line of mesa. Not too crazy though
It's wonderful what they do on that ranch for those poor horses. If I ever won money I would definitely send it to them to help care for these horses. So beautiful.
As a 37 year resident of AJ ... Thanks for representing us in a positive manner.. Don't forget to stroll through the Goldfield Ghost Town and enjoy a sarsaparilla on the veranda of the steakhouse.
I've lived in AZ my whole life. I remember going down the trail as a kid to get up north. Nothing really out there. In 2003 moved to AJ. Its been pretty nice. Only draw back is it the East Valley Sun City once snowbirds roll in.. Hard to believe I've lived out in AJ 20+ years.
Apache Junction is really nice beautiful views never had any problems out here .Like anywhere if you say HI or are a decent person no one will ruffle with you.AJ is so nice came from California and love the mountains and lakes nearby.
Born raised Az used to hunt in AJ back in the day it was fields and farms,, right down the road from the joint..
Thanks for sharing. I also live in Phoenix and here many negative things about AJ..I was pleasantly surprised.
Thanks for watching!
Super I’ve seen most of your videos, that’s one of the reasons why we moved to AZ. This has to be my favorite video 🥰🐎 what a beautiful organization and love people. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Latechia! Glad you enjoyed it! This was one of my favs too.
I lived in Arizona, 1965-70,WAFB, USAF.
Loved the Superstitions Mountains, beautiful memories.
Years ago AJ was an outlaw town. Pretty ruff place. I love it because everything is so close, you don't have to pack a lunch to drive to pay bills, Drs. Appointments etc. In Gold Canyon there are some interesting hiking trails, like the Hydroglyph trails which is a easy to moderate trail into, I guess you would call it, the back or side of the Superstitions. Back there towards the end there is a small waterfall and small pool. Of course with this drought probably no water. You can see the hyroglyphs. So amazing that native Americans lived and hunted in that mountain. A rugged group of people. My hat's off to them.
Of all your videos , I would have to say the ones that touched me the most have been “senior” housing & this video showing humans coming together for another of God’s creatures who are in need of help.
Thank you for showing us via your videos your compassion for your fellow brothers & sisters & the animals they love.
Hoping you & your family are blessed.💖✝️❤️🔥
I’ve visited there several times while vacationing at my parents home. It’s a great place! Lots to do, all around that area and the surrounding areas!! Love it there!
Love Apache Junction driven out there so many times love The lost dutchman mountains and Goldfield mining town. I'd love to move over there I'm on westside by Phoenix.

Seeing Arizona makes me want go water my grass.

Its nice. Some plants thrive
This horse rescue is amazing. Great job people.
I almost got lost in the superstition mountains at sunset as a teenager. thats some ruff mountains ! love your channel ! from Tucson with love !
Awesome! Thank you!
I'm glad you caught the essence of AJ. Way more good than the few bads. I am an AJ resident of 29 years. And I worked the 2020 Census and got to meet many of the amazing people here. Btw they are the Goldfield Mountains to the North. They blend into the Usury Pass area to the West of AJ. You named the Superstitions to the East. Four Peaks are in the distance between Goldfields and Supers to the NE.
Now that was cool. Those people were great. I'd like to live in AJ.
love you, man, you are for real! thanks for all your videos on AZ !
Why did I low key panic when dude walked away from the white unicorn looking one 😂 I was like no don’t leave us!! LOL
Apache junction is beautiful with the mountains, the hike called "Flat Iron" will give you one of the most beautiful views of the valley
Can i ask the cross streets,or direction's? When is the best time of year to go?
@@tonitalamantez2870 it's in the Lost Dutchman Park. Be prepared to climb some rocks. Brings lots of water & snacks. The view is definitely worth it. The hike is a little challenging but peaceful
Good to see that the people were all so welcoming of you 💪

My dad lived in AJ when I was a teenager. I'm from Alabama , but I went out there in 1987 for the summer. My Dad lived in That exact Trailer Park you walked through. You walked right by where his trailer once was. Crazy. anyway. Coincidentally , my wife's family lives in AJ now and we are going out there in 2 weeks for a wedding. So we will be driving from Alabama. I will be doing several videos myself while i'm out there. Enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing.

AJ. Known for tweakers and trailer parks. It's just not like that. My family started buying property out here in the late 40's. I live here now. My husband and kids love it and so do I. AJ has grown. And it's outgrown it's bad reputation. The residents are kind, caring and neighborly. The winter visitors boost the economy and the local politicians seem to be taking the growth and needs of the residents seriously. I'm not going to say the schools are great, as they score very low. But I will say how impressed I am with how this district has handled education during the covid crisis. We were one of the first to have a good, functional online learning platform for our kids. This is a great town with really great residents. It's a big small town and I love that we're able to keep the western flavour.
You are absolutely right about everything. I’ve been here for 30 years raised. I keep my kids in Mesa school because how low our school’s score. I remember going to the dog track and watching the races with my grandfather and even walking the park n swap where Walmart is now!!! We use to eat breakfast at the Grand Hotel every Sunday. I love this town 🤟🏻
@@arizonawoodfarmer3142 I did all of that as well. It really is a great place. It's grown so much that I don't let my kids run around like I did, that's me being overprotective. But it's safe, comfortable and the residents are great.
I’m the same way with my children 🤣. I remember when I was 7 I was living in the trailer park across from Texaco and the old pack rats on the trail I use to walk over to food city to buy myself onions I ran a muck out here...
I defend AJ every time somebody says AJ is known for tweakers and crackheads and meth attic’s and everything else because they obviously don’t know AJ very well
I’m in a 55+ park. Plenty nice. Although across the street are tweakers
The large cactus for landscaping in people's yards looks cool. I'll bet it can get pretty hot weather there. Great of you to give us a perspective of the area. God Bless that horse rescue.

We have lived in Apache Junction since Sept 2014. I tell you after moving here from Texas we questioned our choice in buying a house here. There was strange people that looked like they was on drugs, lots of homeless everywhere. We didn’t know anything about AJ. Its has changed. Its is a nice place to live now. Not as much strange people around. Were moving back to Texas and we have no regrets. Thanks for the tour of the horses. What a great place and a great cause for the horses.
We have been traveling with our three younger daughters for four year. We have found most people are friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed your video. I was so touched by the horse rescue and the work they do for these beautiful horses. Our homebase is in Texas on a small family cattle ranch with our oldest daughter and her family. I just came across your channel today. Have a blessed week.
Thank you for sharing we share our travels and adventures on UA-cam.

@Eric Wellman Nice! How do you like it compared to living in Mass?
It was 92 degrees here in AZ Phoenix area today
@Eric Wellman nice I'm glad you've enjoyed it out there. I've skiied Wildcat plenty of times! I've grown up in small towns and woods and the same scenery and people so I'm at a point in my life to experience something new. I love the sunshine and heat it really makes me in a better mood. Especially if we're comparing to dark, freezing temperatures for half the year. I'm looking forward to it!!
@Eric Wellman Hey, I live in IL currently, planning to move to AZ this time if not earlier next year, and it would be my dream to find an 80k house in a nice/safe area somewhere on the west side, but it seems impossible now forcing me into a price range I wanted to avoid sadly.
@Eric Wellman I'll always be a diehard Boston sports fan!😁 but I will definetly follow and root for the Phoenix teams once i move there.
What a cool blessing! Awesome ministry to our horses. I’ve lived in Az since 1970. I love AJ! It’s still a taste of what lots of areas around Phoenix and the west valley used to be like! I sure hope AJ Town Council doesn’t give in more to these greedy developers! Keep it real! I live on Florence. Another cool western town just south of AJ.
