Mansour Simple Aleppo Laurel Soap follows the tradition of the classic recipe of the Aleppo region in Syria. Laurel Bay or Berry Oil is a valuable ingredient traditionally produced in Turkey. Centuries ago, historians speculated, the first soapmaker blended local olive oil with laurel oil and a little lye to make the worlds first bar of soap. Through the ages, the benefits and uses of this cleanser are countless. From head to toe, yes even hair, our Mansour Simple Aleppo Laurel Soap can be used as a facial cleanser, body wash, and shampoo.
With a clean scent of natural and earthy tones, Simple Mansour Aleppo Laurel has natural benefits of the plant that include its soothing, hydrating and nourishing properties. With all-natural ingredients and no animal products, and the addition of Laurel, your skin will be healthy and refreshed.
The Mansour family is so dedicated to their tradition they grow their ingredients.
For generations, the Mansour family have grown olives on rain-soaked hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The constant breeze off of the sea keeps the orchards at the perfect growing temperature to produce some of the richest olive oil in the world. For three generations, Mansour Soap Company has been making artisan soap out of their small workshop in the olive-rich area of El-Koura Valley in northern Lebanon.
All of the soap is made by hand in a small northern Lebanese village in the north Batruomine-el-Koura valley.
