Having ridden rock and roll many times, the GoPro does not do those slabs justice! Holy Shit Remy, RIPPPING!!!!!!!!!! So Inspiring to get out and ride myself
The GoPro effect is real man. Makes everything look so flat. Someone needs to make a binocular camera so you can watch the video on VR headset and actually see the depth of field
@1:30 in...the ground hog shot cracked me up😂 ok now back to watching... What a really unique and Epic trail! That "wooden trail" and free ride area looks like such a good time🤙
Oh man this vid is great. Like you, the first time I hit that second part of Rock N Roll, I also said “uh, I seem to be picking up more speed than I thought I would... uh... um...oh no” 😂
Your attitude has been fully Canadian since I began watching your videos. I'm feeling an almost absurd pride that you consider us worthy of becoming a member, full time. I'm like, verklempt and shit. WELCOME TO CANADA, REMY!!!
Man, as I was watching I thought, Remy has really improved a lot on camera. Your pitch, power, and pace, along with your gestures comes across smoother. Good job man! Awesome your featuring the parks again!
That makes this area climb a lot on my to-do list! This awesome looking woodwork and slabs make my heart bounce quite a lot 😁 Thx for showing us around, guyz 🤙🏽
Stick rock and Lymn are 2 of my favourite bike trails. Incredibly creative with the combination of rock slabs and woodwork and seamlessly integrating one with the other
Liked the filming in the video. Normally u shoot POV which works but having someone film u from wide angles really shouts the speed u do these courses at.👍🏼🙏
3:25 right after the wooden feature on time travel was where I saw the griz last year. Last two times at kicking horse I have run into bears on the trails. Golden slabs don’t have much grip at all, keeps things fun 😎
You get a thumbs up for saying you need to be able to ride skinnies to pass your Canadian citizenship test. Both for the humour and hearing you're becoming a Canadian. I think the humour is the important part for being Canadian!
Nice videos. Thanks for taking your time to show your viewers the trails (to asses & have an idea for the line of choice). Hopefully you can features Revelstoke. Take it easy buddy!
Not a cake walk for anybody in the world I'm pretty sure. I have been invited to go since 2014 but the timing was never great for me with Rampage too close from it. I may want to go next year, as I feel really good on that bike.
I knew almost immediately it was kicking horse.. and 3diamond could only be stickrock or slabs ( or mount 7 ) that bottom slab used to exit straight down, no right hand berm.. I think they changed due to erosion
It used to be that in your citizenship test you had to demonstrate perfect slap shot technique with one hand while chugging an extra large Tim Horton’s coffee in the other but now Tim Horton’s isn’t even a Canadian company any more so they got rid of that. I’m glad they kept the skinny challenge in the test though.
Its so bad that you see nothing how steep it is. It look so easy when you ride it but in real live it’s Save to hard for 90% of all Mountainbikers But great video 👍
@@remymetailler I gotta agree here, the footage was very different in gopro (much more saturated) than the cameras. For me the camera colors looked less real, but I've never been to Canada, maybe those are the real colors.
Modulate breaking = precise with the power. Smooth.

Been waiting for the mount 7 video for over a year now so hyped to see you ride it! This video is what got my into mtb as a kid ua-cam.com/video/ZdKLGTQg_b0/v-deo.html

One of thing I really like about remys videos is that he. Let's you into his thought process

Amazing runs, love how you explain everything and congrats on joining the Canadian club :)
Thanks so much! 😊

Yes so surprising after riding Squamish..

My hat is off to the men & women who build these Beautiful trails!!
Thank you builders
La qualité vidéo de l'appareil photo est juste magnifique merci c'est belles images Rémy
Man, as I was watching I thought, Remy has really improved a lot on camera. Your pitch, power, and pace, along with your gestures comes across smoother. Good job man! Awesome your featuring the parks again!
I had a good filmer!
It'll be an honor to have you as an official Canadian Remy! It's a good thing I was born here, no way I'm passing that skinny test.
Same, haha!! I’ll remain a PR for life, I guess!
That makes this area climb a lot on my to-do list! This awesome looking woodwork and slabs make my heart bounce quite a lot 😁 Thx for showing us around, guyz 🤙🏽
Pretty nice edit Bro. More of this please.
I think you passed the test Remy. You are now a true canadian with that type of shredding
Super cool video mate. Love to see how you always integrate the nature with its animals! Awesome!
Amazing video ! Love the long shots at the beginning, shows the speed
Marvel of a trail. Really loved it, also because is something that I could ride and enjoy within my own skills. Thank you
The quality of the vids keeps getting better! Great job man.
Kicking Horse looks like a ton of fun. Just a place to go with the boys and have a blast.
And the girls
Really glad that you’re continuing the teaching on these videos - makes them far more enjoyable. Thanks for all the great content Remy
So nice to see the follow cam on you at the end of the video! Really displays your style and skill.

Always fun to watch!!
As always, Remy makes it look too easy!...LOL.
Noticed how tall you stay on the bike Remy, following on from your advice feel much more strong and confident now👍
Good to hear
when i finish univerity i also want to move to bc.
AWSOME VIDEO AND ALSO AN AWESOME LANDSCAPE!!!! Thank you!!!
So sick! Your videos help me improve a ton and there so entertaining!!!! Keep up the great work !
Glad you like them!
I love this north shore line. Looks like a rollercoaster. Reminds me on the old NWD days.
Surely kicking myself for not watching you sooner! Your riding and your camera work are top notch! Cannot thank you enough for the music-free content!
Holy shit. I started mtn biking in the early 90s, the progression is mind boggling

I'm here this weekend saw some me bear shit on swamp donkey
Amazing footage!!! Cant wait for the next video!!! Love that content!
More to come! Thanks for watching!
Two things. One. This place looks amazing and I want to ride there. Two. Remy's riding looks amazing and I want to be able to ride like that. 😂
Good luck with your residency Rémy! I too had to pass the skinny test as I got my PR back in 2008! 💪🏼🤪
5:15-5:25 pretty amazing demonstration of the gopro effect. You wouldn't think it was so steep from the POV footage.
Remy says slab is slippery. Dude just yolos a stoppie down the slab😂
Thats cool mannn when you combine riding video with a cute bear inside😂😂😂
As always amazing content! Always learn something from your vids, very pragmatic.
bonne chance pour la citoyenneté, en espérant que ça se passe bien et que tu puisses la fêter et en profiter à fond !
Awesome trails.

remy's thought process is second to none
Bravo
Superbe vidéo tu roule vraiment trop trop bien 👍🏻👍🏻
Love your videos man. They inspire me to get out and ride tech stuff 🚵
such a nice trail
Hey Remy! Could you do a video on your gopro setup/colour set up and the filters you use because they really pop!
Rémy is the man 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Insane riding🤘🏻
Nice way to make a video not only pov footage
That looked like a ton of fun! Cannot wait for my brakes to get here and the weather to get better so I can get out and ride!
Nice videos. Thanks for taking your time to show your viewers the trails (to asses & have an idea for the line of choice). Hopefully you can features Revelstoke. Take it easy buddy!
Next year!
Awesome vid man 🤩🤟🔥 nice 🐻
He is completely correct about how fast that corner is on Rock n’ Roll. I met him there that day to but I crashed on the corner at the bottom
Bienvenue 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
So excited 😆
It might be just me but watching the way the bear just plowed trough that bush scares me if u see one in the wild .
That shrub grizzly at 1:30 had me thinking "what a weird looking bear" for a second.
Special guest appearance at 14:26.
Remy you shoulda been at hardline im sure it would be a cake walk for you
Not a cake walk for anybody in the world I'm pretty sure. I have been invited to go since 2014 but the timing was never great for me with Rampage too close from it. I may want to go next year, as I feel really good on that bike.
Remy at RB hardline 2022. YES. 🤙😎
Awesome video! 🤟🤟
I knew almost immediately it was kicking horse.. and 3diamond could only be stickrock or slabs ( or mount 7 ) that bottom slab used to exit straight down, no right hand berm.. I think they changed due to erosion
Haha, I would definitely fail the skinny test to become a citizen. Guess I just need to visit more to practice 😜
Cant wait to get on the bike after my wrist injury again.
seems like there are sometimes more animals then humans on the trail
Propain, good bike
Remy, how far ahead are you looking forward when riding those on those steep slabs?
I scan between the exist and 2m in front of my wheel.
You're damn fast and skillful rider.. Just curious why not join races like Redbull DH or Enduro races..
i believe his sponsors wont let him lol

Amazing
Loving your content of late! Keep it up!
Canada welcomes you. and don't let anyone ever call you a settler or colonist!!
Good video, important information too. Maybe title "DH/Enduro Mixed Terrain Riding Techniques" to get different leads.
Wow😱
Très sympa
Sick.
I agree with fuzz wah
Its so bad that you see nothing how steep it is. It look so easy when you ride it but in real live it’s Save to hard for 90% of all Mountainbikers

Fun
What brand are your glasses at the end of the video?
Julbo Fury
I honestly feel like a trail with a Grizzly Bear on it automatically becomes a Triple Black Diamond. LOL
good colors on the video *not the gopro but the camera
Hi welche Feder Härte fährst du ??
Yeah my brakes would melt if I tried that
any tips on dh bikes for a fair prize ive started to be good after 1 month?
He makes those slabs look way too easy
El bro acompañante se iso unos buenos saltos alfinal
Who did the colour correction on this vid😂😂
The filmer. You do not like it?
@@remymetailler the gopro footage looked good, but the other cameras colour looked kinda off, especially in the beginning of the video
@@remymetailler I gotta agree here, the footage was very different in gopro (much more saturated) than the cameras. For me the camera colors looked less real, but I've never been to Canada, maybe those are the real colors.
@@dejvo9997 north shore local here that frequents squam and whis, it definitely doesnt look like that
👌🚵♂️
What do you mean by modulation
Modulate breaking = precise with the power. Smooth.

I will put it on my second channel. I had a technical difficulty so and we were rushed so it was not amazing.
C quoi t lunette à la fin de la vidéo ?
Julbo Fury
How come you didn’t visit panorama?
Next year!
Better get comfortable with those skinnies or the CSEA (Canadian Skinny Enforcement Agency) will come after you for skinny evasion
Ahaha
jiijijijijji ziiiii
Boo!!!
