Ankle strength is very much needed for runners. And not just for injury prevention reasons! A "stiff" ankle holds more tension and allows runners to run more economically.
But for those runners who have a history or sprained or rolled ankles, it's important to build ankle strength and mobility to help prevent these types of repetitive stress injuries in the future. In this video, Jason demonstrates 4 easy but effective ankle strengthening exercises for runners.
