I’ll come back to comment after the video 💚 Sorry it’s taken so long to resume my comment…I took an unintentional little snooze😳🤭 I know swatch videos are a nightmare to film and edit….but if you’re up for it, I’d love to see it!!😂💚 I have rarely used my singles after purchase 😭I have very small collections from Clionadh and Terra Moons, larger groups from Looxi and Devinah. I have JDGlow, Tracy’s Powder Room, Makeup Geek, Sydney Grace, and a select few from Touch of Glam. All of that, they sit there, and I use palettes!!!!!! I’m happy I have them, but it seems I could have spent my money more wisely elsewhere!😢 I haven’t bought any makeup in two months now because I’m trying to give my husband the gift of retirement. To achieve that, I have to stop buying makeup! I have enough for three lifetimes!!! Eventually after the beginning of the year, I’d like to allow myself one product per month. I do love new things. Surprisingly, it’s gotten so much easier to resist..wish me continued success!😂 So good to spend time with you today! I look forward to whatever and whenever you post!!🥰❣️❤️😘
I totally get it!! Especially for the every day makeup consumer, other than just buying stuff because you like trying new things or maybe you like collecting, there's really no reason to buy, buy, buy. I justify my purchasing because "I have a YT channel", but I realize sometimes that's an excuse I tell myself to feel better lol I have done MUCH better this year as opposed to prior years, without a doubt. Sometimes we have to weigh what's more important and makeup doesn't take precedence over necessities. All that said, I have a major problem with needing all the new, shifty, shiny, sparkly eyeshadows. They make me excited to swatch, use, stare at, etc lol I know Clionadh is expanding their Stained Glass Collection soon and I'm def checking that out and I recently bought the new Terra Moon's summer collection minus 2 I didn't think I needed... singles are so pricey 😫 I wish you the best of luck my friend-I know it's hard but YOU CAN DO IT!! Hey there love muffin! Yes, I definitely want to do more content with my special shades. They make me happy just playing with them lol I'm simple, can't help it 🤷♀️ I agree- it's like collecting art. They're just so darn pretty 😍 😂 I look like a glittery mess about 90% of the time lol I'm still having a really rough time with my health. It's gotten pretty bad here lately. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired 😔 but I'm awaiting a lot of testing. I'm hoping to get answers in the near future. Kids are doing alright...furry kids are my lil angels-my cats are my support animals. They know when I need the extra lovins and they're right by my side during rough days. It's incredible how much they pick up on. My non-furry kids are doing well... can't get over the fact that I have an 18 year old! That means I'm getting old 😫 lol How are you and yours doing?? Most of my eyeshadow is in pre-made palettes, but I recently BYOP from really old palettes I wanted to declutter but still loved one or two shades. I depotted the shades and stuck them in the magnetic palette and it's become my favourite neutrals palette! Dusty pink mattes are a rare unicorn!
I just found you when I was looking for some single shadow goodness to watch and I think you’re absolutely bloody fab! I enjoyed this so much, you made me laugh and I subbed straight away 💕

I am very picky about my makeup and I find base products really uninteresting. But colorful eyeshadows are my jam. Terramoons, devinah and clionadh are brands I am absolutely lusting after.

Oooh I love them!! There was a shade in the give me glow palette underneath the unicorn one that had me 👀. If you did a swatch video I'd definitely watch it!
So the shade on the left underneath Electric Unicorn, is called Party Monster and it's green/purple shifty shade. The shade to the right of that is called Mermaid Waters and it's sparkly teal. Wasn't sure which one you were referencing, but just in case you were interested 🥰 And thank you for the feedback! I am going to add it to the need to film list lol
My issue with singles is that I forget about them…no matter how amazing they are…because I have to take time to make a color story or find them. It’s weird but I feel like when I use empty palettes with cutouts/dividers (like the lethal 9 count that you pop in) I reach for them more like a palette I bought. But of course that involves me putting a color story together in advance. I store them like you do with the big empty palettes when not using them.
I can def relate to this-me more so because I have so many I get overwhelmed. But I'll grab several I want to focus on for the week and I'll make myself use those few so I actually get use out of them. I'll pull a couple of palettes and then I'll look through my special shades to see which ones would complement those palettes. It's an easier way to get use out of them.
Love your collection. I’m close to 500 singles, it’s getting overwhelming. I have more on the way too 🙈🙈🙈 I just can’t resist and makeup makes me happy

One of those Looxi beauty shadows you swatched was meant to be a topper shade and not opaque. You should definitely do another video where you swatch them all and declutter the bad ones. I'd love to see it! I've got about 12 of their eyeshadows and only 2 were duds. I know what I'm looking for now when I see the swatches on the website. I like the super pigmented "special" ones too! New subscriber here! 😊
I so want all the iridescent multichromes from Clionadh (I have some of their other ones but boy did it cost) and some Holo ones from somewhere but the price to ship to the UK then the customs and Post Office charges on top make it so heart destroying. I was gonna try Pastel Roses but think I'll give them a miss now :0) x
The iridescents are really great-I love Terra Moon's iridescents also. And I would definitely skip Pastel Rose's Holos...try Glam Shop or Touch of Glam Beauty 🥰
Not sure where you got your mica etc from but if it wasn't TKB Trading they have some "recipes" on their site for making shadows that may help....or not LOL :0) x

Colourpop shimmers suck on the eyes when they’re brand new…and the mattes die really fast. Get rid of them!
I need to go back through my collection and get rid of stuff I held onto before lol there's a LOT that should've gotten the boot!
