This is the first video that I see people using massive amounts of modular synthesizer to make truly remarkable and beautiful music instead of looping sounds. This is beautiful, so beautiful. I just feel it’s worth it to play modular stuff if I can make something like this.
I must say this, because I've been watching this particular jam for about 7 months now. It's like therapy for me, this one is the best comparing this to any other jams (your other jams are also very very good, but this one is something different). It hits me with nostalgia, feelings from the past, but doesn't make me sad, it makes me happy. It just makes me feel, that there's always something new and amazing coming and not to give up. Thank you, very very much
I listened to this so many times, that I finally decided to buy a Korg Volca keys and start jamming . I don't have any background in music theory, but I design and make bitsy games, and deep down I always felt a need to start making simple analog tunes. Thanks a lot for this masterpiece :D
just fantastic! i ve seen many videos with modular synth in you tube mostly ambient and teckno but your music is like a mix of them and so much better...congrats!!! make more videos like this and tutorials please...
This is honestly impressive, very nice work, truly a masterpiece. Can easily see the amount of knowledge you've got on this, brilliant! Keep up the goodwork
I'm sitting here reeling from some disastrous news about a close family member. Escaping into the vast peaceful worlds revealed in this music is what I need right now. You are literally healing my worried mind.
I hate short patch cables! They block arm movement - but thanks for your feedback. Binders are in the latest videos - came to the same point at least ;)
What are the chances of you doing an in depth tour of your setup, what each module does, and maybe even how to arrange something like this? I know basically nothing about synths, but this is fascinating.

Thank you for your kind words! Much appreciated. And a good motivation to keep on going with my Modular stuff in the future.
Best example of composing on a modular that I've ever seen. Easily.
Thanks a lot

GREAT jam I love it
Thanks for watching!
An Eurorack synth that you can play live could be in your mix. I'm working on it now. It would take this compassion to the next level.
This is beautiful!
Brilliant work on this Maik !
Thank you!

Definitely much better than the number of followers and likes would presume.
11:50 You need some shorter patch cables and some binders! ;^)
I hate short patch cables! They block arm movement - but thanks for your feedback. Binders are in the latest videos - came to the same point at least ;)

i need to learn from this: drums didnt appear until 10 mins in...i cant wait to throw drums on something...i need patience
i think i just discovered an new expensive hobby
It definitely is - you maybe should consider not to have videomaking as a second!
@@MaikSchott oh dont even get me started on that second hobby. My wife might leave me haha
😆
Hey try out vcv rack as well, its not as fun but its a great start to get into the genre.
@@sonicsupersam7793 man how to start and learn ??? I downloaded vcv rack but Where to begin ??
Very nice performance! Are those 168hp doepfer cases?
Yes - the 168 Monster Cases
A bit late to this party, but: Is the first arpegio sequenced by the varigate? Seems like it from the pictures.
Very nice jam!!
Thank you! I think yes, it should be the Varigate. It a long time ago I did this session 🤔
Ok, Agent Smith. I suppose that's one way of entering the matrix, I don't know...
🤔 Did not see it that way. But thanks Zeus!
@@MaikSchott lol! Great work, man! I can't stop hearing it. I'm trying to learn through VCV Rack, and you're definitely an inspiration!
Thanks a lot Thiago. Really appreciate that!
What was the patch on the Elements?
As far as I remember I made it kind of flute a like with slow attack and mixed it with another VCO
@@MaikSchott Awesome, great work. Thanx.
the most expensive hobby in the world
Not to forget about cars, collecting gems, flying helicopters.
Ace jam man!
