You might be surprised about that Doctor Doom figure in that Monica Rambeau two pack. That figure seriously brings the drama. He comes with an amazing unmasked head and a loose Dr. Doom mask with special hands for holding and posing with it.
They all look great! I definitely gotta try and get them when I can. I do hope we get a golden version that Iron Man and a classic original Wasp figure so we can recreate The Avengers in their first appearance.

I like all of the Widow heads so I put the short hair on the gray version with jet pack, the Peggy Bundy hair on the vintage carded version and the mean face stays on
After getting a lot of the characters in boxes this summer I have to admit, I like them better. The full box protects my character/toy better. Because they are not put into odd positions then their arms/legs/joints aren't already warped. And the accessories don't come out bent. And they wrapped in recyclable protects. And the artwork is cool.
Iron man classic look from the comics is the true figure of the character. Awesome work for the Marvel Legends line. I'm add this to my Essential Iron man #1
The paint job on Hawkeye unfortunately looks kind of choppy. Might make a good play day touching up the paint job if you can match the exact colors. Like behind hisbear and that buckle.
I saw the sky cycle disassembled and thought "here we go, another button on the Batmobile situation" but he figured it out! Way to go Robo! Was there ever talk of this Hawkeye coming with a second belt/loincloth that was sculpted? Or am I imagining it?
On the iron man review in where you said that the little buttons on the sides of his stomach are air vents , are actually plug sockets to recharge his armor.
I have three of the first appearance grey Ironman from 2010 or there about and two of the gold version very happy with those but I really want that new one. It has me speechless almost. So nice .
Great review Robo. I just got my “Mark zero one” Iron Man and he is great! Classic Hawkeye on the sky cycle is one of my most wanted figures. He looks do stellar! I’m stoked for Widow as well.
I can't wait for my Hawkeye and the West Coast Avengers pack to show up. We already have great White Vision, Scarlet Witch, U.S. Agent and War Machine figures. We need an updated Wonderman and I'm pretty much set for the team.... well, I guess they could do a Living Lightning too... and some of the other randos I can't really recall but I can live without them.
I hope they do a gold repaint of that Iron Man mold. Don't get me wrong, I like the silver colour too, but the classic Avengers look with the gold version of the Model I armour looks sooo much better, imo.
Just got Iron Man and my biggest gripe with it is the lack of flamethrower gun, it would have been nice if they sculpted a trigger hand (at least one) and thrown in Orb's gun and called it a day. It's fine tho, it's a great figure all around.
The Iron Man Model 1 armor actually doesn't have an Arc Reactor core(as it barely is exists or even mentioned in the comics) nor does it have Repulsor technology, Repulsors weren't employmented until the Model 4 Classic Armor. Yeah the MCU kinda spedup the progression of the Iron Man tech 😂

I just got these, the captain marvel and doom, and am waiting for the hulk and banner, this is looking to be a great set of figures. I do hope that with the new Hawkeye body we get a dark Hawkeye since they’re just need to do a new arm

For this Black Widow figure, I'm not a fan of the loose hair on her short hair head. Like others, I glued down the hair because I think Hsabro did an incredible face sculpt for her.

I have the Marvel Select one so I’m good. Masterson Thor is ok. I like the idea of the Adaptoid but not so much execution. Don’t care about Sersi and flash light Black Knight. Bucky Cap is a must. Is he in the white box special? Anyway maybe if on sale later for most of these sets. Surely someone has made straps with rectangle raised sections in flexible plastic we can glue on Hawk guy. I still think it doesn’t solve the sit down issue. Surprised there are no pegs in sky cycle.
I miss when Toy Biz would include stands and accessories - like a nearly identical sky cycle - for the same RRP, and it was a given those things would be included. Hasbro have basically been using identical figures to both Toy Biz and previous waves with zero improvements, less paint, half the accessories, no stands, etc, for years now, and we as collectors have given them a free pass.

Swap the Bone crusher shoulder with Hawkeye for better look and lift the arm bands to hide the bicep swivel, give him a wash and ENJOY, your welcome buddy
This Black Widow is rhe best from Hasbro because the articulation and head sculpts and beautiful, Hawkeye looks cool especially how classic he looks, and Iron Man Model 1 looks great despite the marbly plastic that me and Robo like because it's very comic booky, I don't have them, But I will get Black Widow because she is fire, Great review.
Did anyone else have the problem with their Hawkeye where his knee is super stiff but his boot is gummy and trying to bend his knee causes his boot to pop off
I caved in on the Black Widow when I got a closer look at the head sculpts. Personally, my favorite comic look for her is the Jim Lee look with the leather jacket/grey suit combo. This one will fit in better with a classic Avengers display since it's the look she's portrayed with the most. Can't wait until my Widow comes in so I can start posing. Mark I looks great, but the 80th Anniv Iron Man is the definitive Iron Man figure for me. I really want to like Hawkeye, but the body is just throwing me off. The shoulders are too small and low on the body. His thighs also kind of stick out to the sides a little bit and his face looks kind of bland. Also him not being able to do an arrow drawing pose is a major turn-off. I love the colors and the accessory choices are nice, but the execution isn't great. Definitely not worth the $50, but unless you want to wait 4-5 years for Mafex to make one this is the best we have.
If you get another Hawkeye, cut his arrow pulling fingers between middle and third, cos that’s how archers traditionally fire arrows. 😊 also, would love it if they did a pinless classic Thor with a bit more of a Kirby style❤ looking face sculpt
Also wish that classic black widow hair, wish the fringe was a bit shorter and more blunt. It’s good though. Mine came today. Iron man tomorrow. Wonder if people will make headsculpts for it with painted in eyes
Honestly, after Jada Toys absolutely crushed it with their Street Fighter figures, it really brings to light how poor Hasbro's engineering generally is. They've got so many points of articulation but they just can't seem to ever do them right. Butterfly joints that don't work, double ball pegs that are sunk too deep to do anything, hips that can't split for some reason that is absolutely beyond me, etc. In spite of having more points of articulation and more complicated engineering, I guarantee that their Chun-Li and Cammy figures will be able to pose circles around Black Widow here.

have had the hawkeye for awhile now from bbts & i love him! lil rubber squares on the fabric would’ve DEFINITELY been cool, but also might’ve been kinda awkward and leaves a lot of room for qc nightmares. BUT i gotta say the favorite out of ALL of these avengers figs is definitely IRON CAN mark 01 !!! & he’s on the way, an will be here any minute now. what can i say? the rivets, the glowing arc reactor, the 50’s style antenna on the left side. ooh he’s gorgeous! side to side with the classic 20th anniv ML vers looks great. my two favorites. with the hologram tony head. classics only iron men. i’ve got a couple favorites like cartoon vers, the modern comic vers that dr. doom got his hands on. he’s cool. including the new fat chrome toaster man! ive been really stoked on the star wars & ML’s lately. good stuff. thanks for doin’ what you do! big fan.✌🏼❤️©️.

I think the boots are reuse from one of the goblins but i refuse to take mine down to check.
I checked after, it's 20th Captain America for sure, not sure about others. Goblins are mostly tattered and pointy, at least the ones I have.

I think how Hasbro reused the effect bracelets from the 90s black widow is really cheap because they don’t match with her neutral bracelets.
My thigh did the same thing on my hawk guy it looks fine on my self with the cycle but when I do a leg spreed archer pose it looks goofy😢
