I remember watching Kaka’s goal live as a United supporter and couldn’t believe my eyes when he pulled that off. He made prime Evra and Heinze look like schoolboys on their own yard. Considering this was the season he went on to win the Champions League and eventually the Ballon D’or, the goal is not talked about enough. Legendary player. Legendary goal.

When everybody says that someone is underrated, then the player is not actually underrated. Ozil is the perfect example. He is highly rated by fans and was always valued in his prime at Real Madrid and Arsenal.
@@footballterminal Well, unfortunately he was certainly underrated as a German international. One of the best footballers we have ever had, but some parts of the public could never warm up to him, always nitpicking on everything he did. That silly discussion about a photo with him and Erdogan was very typical of how the German public managed to sabotages its own last two WC campaigns, and caused a very frustrating end to that player‘s international career.

Had Juventus won that Champions League, Mandzukic's goal would have been labelled as the best UCL goal ever.
For me, it's the best UCL I've ever seen: Bonucci plays a lobbed 40 meters pass, Alex Sandro crosses with his first touch, Higuain stopped it and managed to assist, and Mandzukic manages to do that overhead kick.

Ramsey's left-footed low volley in Europe deserved the Puskas. The balance in execution, coming from a right-footed player was phenominal.

There are like three underrated goals in this video.
Nice compilation of goals (not all of them underrated really but instead quite famous). However, it should have been titled „Most underrated goals of the 21st century so far“. It is always a bit preposterous when those videos who claim to cover the entire „football history“ are mainly about things that happened within the last 15 years.
Literally none of these goals are underrated lmfao.

Firstly, no one underrates the Gareth Bale goal. Secondly, that Thiago Alcantara goal is technically perfect, the way he gets over the ball and it practically hovers over the ground but never touches the ground, wow.
