Hello sir I think that you should try this GCam version for X5 pro drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1pW73avxX-3kIEckJxFwZUs4iYp7BESil?usp=share_link
@@hellomini3171 Hey again Hellomini! I'll give that port a try too. I have gotten a bunch of shots with a different port already, but I could always use two in a comparison video! Thanks again!
The only thing that kinda worries me is the Miui software, but regardles, i'll buy it!, i would have loved to get a pixel 6a, but it isnt available in my country. Great video!.
hey ...man iam useing poco x4 gt it's a monster phone i updated to miui 14 based in Android 13 and it's UI became smooth like my iphone 11 and some time i used more than my ( ip 11) the battay which i can't believed yet ..i got (10 hours) of screen on time sometimes with dynamic refresh rate + with mobile network.. but the camera is terrible 😔 please i need perfect GCAM sorry for my bad English
Totally understand and I agree! The X4 GT'a camera is it's weakest hardware. I just put out a camera comparison with the X4 GT and Realme GT Neo 3T and there is a pretty good GCam port in the video description. It's still laggy, but results are much better than stock most of the time ua-cam.com/video/FZtj1M4s4kU/v-deo.html No worries with your English--I can easily understand what you are saying!
Hi, first of all: Thanks a lot for these great vids! You should have way more subs, keep up the great work! I have a question: How do you get the phones that you review? Do you buy them normally and then keep them? Do you get sponsored? Thanks in advance!
So glad you like the videos Kresh! It's a mix of sponsored (often basically rental) and phones that I just have to buy. I've reached out to a lot of companies and very few have any interest working with me since the channel is so small. So sadly, I don't usually get to keep the phones for more than a month.
I think the X5 Pro can take 4K videos with stabilization, while the X4 GT is stabilized at 1080p/30 only. And the X5 Pro camera is generally better according to reviews. But I’m still going for the X4 GT because I prefer more speed during multitasking, and I keep my phones for around 4 years. I am still using a Redmi Note 7 (cost $200 in 2019), which amazingly can take 1080p/30 stabilized videos + 1080p/60 non stabilized (using the stock cam), and 4K/30 using GCam.
The X5 Pro is an example of increased manufacturing costs. Cheaper build, yet a similar price to the F4. It also looks cheaper than the X4 Pro. Using Android 12, is poor. With 2 OS updates, it could end on Android 14, only one ahead of where we are now. A year ago, I paid less, for an F3 from Xiaomi, than the X5 5G sells for today!
Hello EnglandCalling! I definitely think inflation/manufacturing costs have certainly increased the costs of devices this year. It's a bummer. I don't think the X5 Pro is a bad device at say $360 USD, but it just makes the Pixel 6a and some other devices a lot more attractive.
@@phonecomp Poco's forthcoming F5 Pro will be interesting, as that might launch near F4 GT prices! I agree with you on the Pixel 6a, for non-gamers, it's a bargain.
@@phonecomp I miss moments due to the lag. Sometimes image starts capturing after 5-6 seconds. You have to use hdr+ enhanced which takes even more time. If you use normal hdr+ or instantaneous hdr+(hdrnet) the image captured is soft and dim in lower light or indoor conditions. And the ram management issue with 6gb variant that I mentioned few months back, is still there.
778 is far better than x4's 695 and it is a generally good balanced phone at this price but x3 pro was the best nothing will beat it because mostly of the price point it almost costed 50% less money and had much better gaming processor than 778
Hello Alkissalazar! I definitely agree. The X4 Pro was not a phone that I could stand to use daily. The X4 Pro is really fine though, but . . . I think I still prefer my X4 GT. I might do a comparison video on those two.
@@DraL1on I think so too. Can I ask what the price difference is between the X5 Pro and X4 GT in your area (if you're outside the states)? I'm sure there are a lot of users who will still prefer the X5 Pro's screen over the X4 GT's, and with performance being closer--it really comes down to price.
Hey Speedo! I saw that, I'm just not convinced that tests like that or Jerry Rig Everything's bend test are very representative of average wear and tear on a device. It's interesting to see, but I just don't think it's highly relevant. Drop tests make more sense to me!
@@MrAhirHamirThanks Hamirahir, you're right! Those test really are the most representative of real world use. I was trying to think of a bend test that would make sense, and all I could come up with was a "sit on your phone" test, but that's a stretch.

Thank you Santiago! You're right, if MIUI would improve then Xiaomi/Poco/Redmi devices would be much easier to fully recommend. I hope you enjoy it!

Nice review
I have a question
Is the sound coming out of the 3.5 input high or low?
Hello! Wired headphone volume was average.
sir which is the better color? black or yellow?
Hmmm. I like yellow best.
Thanks for the good review 💯
Glad you liked it Ced!

Well said Levi! It sounds like the X4 GT is a good choice for your needs.
In 5 days I was thinking of buying a poco x5 pro so could you tell me if it's good
Hello Omar! Overall, it's good and hard to beat at it's price--unless you buy a used flagship.
@@phonecomp OK thank you ❤️
cant wait for it to arrive havent paid yet though :D
I hope you like it Kontor! It's a much improved phone from last year.
You have been using it for 2 months
Tell me
Is it worth it?
Is it good?
I am thinking of buying it

Oh yes, I'm very interested in this year's F series. Especially since it will need to compete with the likes of the GT Neo 5, maybe the 11R.
The camera quality of poco x4 gt is trash. All Gcams I have tried lag.
Hello Somu! I think that is due to the mediatek chipset. I still think GCam offers a lot of improvement if you put up with the viewfinder lag though.

X4 gt: 320 Euro // x5 pro: 360 Euro at this moment but x5 pro will probably drop more
it cracks like a biscuit ... very cheap material.

Only water, drop, scratch test are important. Bend test is not important in regular use
