Congratulations to the sister who was granted Ghana 🇬🇭 citizenship. What a beautiful ceremony. This is awesome 👌. They say once you have received Ghana citizenship, you can go to any country in Africa without having to apply for a Visa.

Congrats to the sister for acquiring her ghanian citizenship, but it breaks my heart that she had to wait for 16 years before she can be recognised as African when her ancestors were forcibly removed from the motherland. Black people why are we allowing ourselves to making the mistakes our forefathers did ... a Jewish man anywhere in the world doesn’t have to wait 16 years to get recognise as a Jew or need a visas to return to Israel. Our African American brothers and sisters have done so much and been through so much in the hands of the white men to return to continent Africa to continue that same struggle. Please our people let us be pro-active nor reactive and stand up for what is right (call a spade a spade) before it too late. African Americans are African by blood and history and they deserve immediate recognition for who they are ( not foreigners) but Africans!!!!

I believe she did not wait for 16 years because that is the criteria. She is the one that waited for 16 years before she applied, I met some people in the group that waited for 6years. Some just didn't know where to start or never cared to find out why. Ghana is not chasing those without papers out of Ghana and I know a lot of them who are thriving, minding their own business and do not care to apply for citizenship. Ghana is doing the right thing, she should not give blanket citizenship but vet them all. If you love Ghana and want to be a citizen, nothing can change your mind even after 16years but if you only loving Ghana to get their passport then I am sorry, it wouldn't happen, go to desperate African countries bribing diasporas with livestock while their people are starving to get free citizenship.
Those people you are referring to as Jews and going to Israel, are not the real jews referred to in the bible, (ua-cam.com/video/Z3i115dBaHg/v-deo.html) they are Jewish, they are imposters from Kazaria and caucus mountain area of Eastern Europe. They are Askanazis, not Jews, they are where they are because of the British double-crossing the Palestinians(Read About the Balfour's illegal Declaration). Do you even know that UGANDA was their first choice to occupy and call their homeland? until they realized, that area is black Africa and there would be a resistance unimaginable, so they abandoned that idea. The last time I checked Israel is part of Africa at the NE corner of the African plate. There were no white people in Africa 5-6000years ago. They are occupying other peoples land so everything they are doing today including calling all the so-called Jewish people home to Israel is an effort to supplant the Palestinians and the real Jews(dark-skinned Africans) that own the land and not just because they love their own people. Go to Israel and you will see how the different group of the so-called Jews, not Ethiopians, are treated like animals while others are the elite. The former president of Egypt with African ancestry ABDUL NASSER whose niece FATIA was married to Dr KWAME NKRUMAH the first president of Ghana stated to the imposter Jewish people "How can you leave Africa black and return white?". Even Hitler stated the real Jews were black

Congratulations to the mother in the interview. We are from Georgia (state) too and have lived in Ghana (with 2 children) for over a year now. You do us all very proud. I just love Mother Millie (of MOF) who you mentioned. We are in talks with her and Bro Yaw of BADA, as we speak. Peace, strength, good health, longevity, and much life fulfillment to ALL of you on the frontlines in ANY way, helping with our complete return and restoration to this land, through citizenship. Thank you.

As a kenyan i would submit that African Diaspora should be nominated to the parliaments and senates of all these African Countries. In kenya those positions can be covered as Mbunge maalumu(special member of Parliament). We us Africans we have to create room for our brothers and sisters who were abducted more then 400 years ago from us. Special political positions should be opened for African Americans, European Africans, African Latinos, Indian Africans(Siddis), and persian Africans. Africa is all ours and we must share and be a unified people.

Good idea but I think a more simple solution is to offer citizenship with far less of a wait time. 15 years is way too long.
In this way, interested Diaspora who are citizens can run for any position they like

Proud of you sister and congratulations Akosua Boateng. Probably the Uber driver didn't understand or speak English. Not all Ghanaians are proficient in English even though English is the official language. If the person has not finished high school, probably his or her English is practically non-existent or pidgin (patoa) at best.
Most Ghanaians speak Twi or their native tongue than English. And guess what Asante-Akim Agogo is my town too. I know you would love it there, whilst I am up here in freezing cold northern British Columbia, Canada.
