My brother-in-law was a front line doctor during this war. He had been in the Army about 1 1/2 being a young doctor it was hard. I remember an email I got from him he said no where in medical school did it teach you what to do for a 19yr old kid who had both his legs blow off. Even though he went in as a Captain he had never see action. He is retiring next fall as a Colonel he has been on the front line of ever war or conflict since. So please remember to thank all military personnel for their service.

Bondi- You are brave and healthy. This is Srebreno bay between Dubrovnik and Cavtat. The sea here is cold due to the nearby hydroelectric power plant. It is cold in summer, let alone in winter. Ahead towards Cavtat, at a depth of several meters, there is a small town ... stone streets and a square ... remnants of the old world. Good luck

B.C. ..the site is protected by Ministry of Culture ( it is on their list of protected zones), any illegal research is forbidden, on site or around it. I am not familiar with the information on how far one needs to go from center of zone to be able to explore but metal detecting in Croatia is in grey zone, semi-legal I would say. I would advise everyone who comes to do research in our beautiful country to always be well informed about local laws, or at least stay away far from archeological sites as the penalties are serious.

Yes, some of the coins look like they're gold under water. I have some coins from Israel that are made of Aluminum Bronze, and when they're polished up, they shine just like gold.

@@BondiTreasureHunter Hey there Lee, not wrong there mate, I could spend all day in the water, nearly been divorced a couple of times over my obsession 😁People just don't get it, the unexpected and surprises etc. I get a lot of lead where I hunt to get the gold but that isn't too bad as I cash in the lead to buy 10oz silver bars and sometimes gold. I see it as all treasure because even the scrap has value. Be safe and see you on the next hunt. Cheers Brad
