- 700 miles down, 300 to go. This is day 50 of my pilgrimage from Zagreb, Croatia to a monastery in Greece.
I was blessed the last day in Serbia with a great host in Vranje who took me to the birth place of the best burek in all of the Balkans (and perhaps the world). Two slabs with two yoghurt drinks fueled the day.
In North Macedonia, I was asked to do an interview with TV Plus Kumanovo which I included in this video.

One of the Tony’s was telling a story about how a woman-I’m guessing the wife (?) was slowly drinking in front of him but it sounded like he’d turn his back and she’d shoot the drink down. She did this daily and I’m assuming it was alcohol she had quickly consumed. The audio went in and out so I couldn’t get it all
