I love this podcast episode. Watched it lots of times now. It resonates with me because I'm a violin teacher. Work for myself. Set my own rates. Teach who I want and not who I don't. Every time I have worked for someone else in my adulthood, I've ended up sick. I commend both of you for having the strength to do what feels right for you. We need some people to work the 9-5 because some important jobs require that, but if you can make it on your own, go for it!

This is amazing, thank you both so much for it. I’m near enough the same age as Jay and it blows my mind knowing everything that he’s achieved compared to me. I think of life and the world in exactly the same way that he does, I just have the fear of pursuing it… unlike him! Inspirational though and definitely gives you food for thought. enjoyed that mate, well done. I too left my high paying business to pursue something i was more passionate about outgrew my previous business which was created inline with my uni degree. everyone thinks I'm mad. 4 years on and im seeing the progress now and i see more progress every single day incrementally also its amazing how success leaves clues i smiled and nodded as jay said certain things that i already do thats inbuilt into those who are so driven.
