I had the 3-piece Dark Plate + added and extra thigh. If you've been to the Memphis, TN location on Front St. (which has the best fried chicken in the world) - then you might be disappointed with the fried chicken at the Austin location. Flavor is different, batter is not as crispy - it's good fried chicken, just not mind-blowingly amazing like the Memphis location.

sadly not very good here, it’s decent fried chicken, but none of the Gus’s franchises can compare to the Memphis location

It must be still in virus setting with tables spaced that far apart. I'm surprised they can afford to stay in business.
