Thanks for the upload, man. I love this show, wish I was old enough to understand it when it was still around. That said, I usually skip to a little over 3 minutes because Maher's monologues are pretty bad haha. Thanks again.
yeah but surely maher could've known that Roseanne was just joking about that. but yeah bill was a much younger man by then, and certaintly more right-leaning libertarian those days. I prefer him now and with real time with bill maher, he's more comfortable, the conversations aren't constantly interrupted by stupid long commericials which means you get a better understanding of his and his guest views, and comedy wise you can tell he's more freer and relaxed.
I thought any hostility was in jest. If it was real, it could be because Bill wasn't buying the multiple personalities or the fact she "insulted" him about being on the show.
Ha yeah, I'll admit that his material isn't the best on PI, but I still think it's good, because (1) it's gives a window into then-current events and (2) I think his delivery is very good. But that's just me ha
is it just me or did maher seem incredibly hostile towards Roseanne? I find it strange because the three appearances she did on real time with bill maher, the two loved one another and highly respected one another, here it seemed they clashed alot
Did Maher say that Roseanne would go down as the most famous person in the history of television? No one under the age of 30 has any idea who she was. Everyone remembers Seinfeld, Johnny Carson, etc. No one remembers Roseanne. The 90s were a strange time.
Hi. I'm from the future. Roseanne's show came back and it was a huge hit. You don't know much about anything so shouldn't comment on videos AT ALL. Read A LOT. After 20 years of reading, maybe i'll let you comment on a video. Check with me first.
Years after this, she admitted she was not sexually abused by her father. There was an entire era when psychiatrists were telling patients they'd been sexually abused. There are a couple of great books written on False Memory Syndrome, it has caused tremendous damage to many families.

Was this when he was a Libertarian?

I haven't met ANYONE who remembers Seinfeld and Carson and I'm almost 40.
