Maruti Suzuki insurance brokers were fined almost Rs 3 crores in Jan 2020 because they didn’t take consent from customers on what insurance company the customer wanted. Before 2020, they charged the customer for insurance in which MS had huge margin. Lots of customers complained this to IRDAI and after then, IRDAI fined MS brokers and asked them to seek consent from customers which insurance company they prefer. You can check this on google.

I have the same experience, I have also done KOTAK GENERAL INSURANCE but the quote which i received from Suzuki has the same coverage which kotak offered me. Overall i have saved ~14000. The good part is that nexa shared the same link with me as well.
