I'm so heartbroken over Red. I was the one who came up with his name and I felt connected to that grumpy old bird. RIP Red Forman.
R.I.P.
Of all the birds, I really enjoyed having him around.
I’ve had a rat problem with my pigeons as well. I lost tons of chicks and money plus them pissing in the birds water making them sick. I’ve moved them and now have poison laid out, haven’t had an issue since. I’m sorry about Red I know how it is losing a favourite bird.
How about naming him Kurtwood Smith? He played red on that 70s show
There is a thinker!!!
Good Evening Jordan, great vid ,sorry you have a big problem with so many predators. Too many gaps in the ground floor lofts and probably the chicken sheds. Some tin sheets nailed up will stop the problem. Too many racoons around there, Jordan, get them trapped or shot! Very sorry that Red's gone,he was a legend in his own time! The geese and chickens look well. If you get more geese and ducks, Jordan, dig a big pond out for them. Your quail chicks and turkeys look fine, some big turkeys running around with the geese. We hope you solve the predator problems soon and we bet your livestock will be pretty grateful too. Take care and sort it out, Malc and Ann (England) UK xx
I hope to get the predator problem fixed soon!
I’d love to put in a small pond! I just need a good place to dig it!
beautiful fancy pigeon farm
Sorry for your loss
Thank you for your condolences
Ryan better be careful he mite get his Goose Cooked . Red Jr. sounds good . Enjoyed it Jordan
I see what you did there! Lol
Sounds like a mink or a weasel I would block up any entry points to the coop. Don’t underestimate how small a space they can fit in
It’s crazy how small a space those animals can fit through!
What do you do with the turtles? Could you do a vid showing and explaining what you do with them?
I’ll try and work that in to a video!
always watching your videos from the Philippines..
Thank you!!
Nice pigeon 👍
You should try using an electric fence on the outside by Premier one works very well I know tons of people that use it for their chickens Ducks also I use it around my pigs to avoid predators
Great idea! Thanks!
I'm growing homer pigeon from 2016 almost seven years, with only 14 female pigeons , I use only female's for racing because they are good at returning
Participated six times once first place and three times second, one of my friend compited me all three times
Very nice!!! Sounds like you have a great system!
@@JordansHarvest but my parents oppose growing pigeons
ohhh mannn i loved red he was cool jordan
Wow a Jordan video and about pigeons 😳a double whammy of goodness 😂👍🏼it can’t get much better ! Or could it 😎and I see mr beard creeping back in 😳 keep that chin clean buddy cmon 😂😂😂and we never saw the rest of the pigeons 🤷♂️😂
I’m sure it could get much better! Lol
I’m not a fan of shaving! Not enough hours in the day for all that lol!
@@JordansHarvest there’s 24 hours in a day and it takes 10 minutes to shave 🪒😂
Yes mam ,if you don't close ,all the holes on the barn the raccoons will clean them up ,I lost so many pigeons and chickens to the raccoons.. thanks for sharing 👍..
Raccoons are very hard on birds for sure!
yes
Hey where do you get your Pigeons?, I'm interesting in getting some Frillbacks or Rollers, Thank you for showing all your Birds!, Also if the heads are missing its likely an Owl, I do falconry and Owls love to rip the heads from their prey so you might have an Owl problem, New subscriber!
Get the live traps out! Raccoons will just keep working out someway to get your birds. Even if your vigilant, they are finding meals there and they will return. You could catch them all and cage them. Then take the whole family 50+ miles away.
Though I’d treat them like the starlings.
I’m sure I’ll have to figure something out soon
What kind of rat poison did u use boss man I got rat problem and I lost about 6 pigeon babies so far
Its gonna be okay
Very true
Red Jr. sounds good!
🤙🤙🤙
Can you please make n vid on the pigeons we dont know if you even have them any more please love your vids from south africa
Awesome video cool turtle 🐢 catch ..the young turkens look awesome and so do the cochins ..you ever get any buff brahma chicken I used to not like them but there starting to grow on me I have been looking for a few in my area ..( I'm leaving this comment before you give the pigeon bad news so it is awesome so far )
Thanks! Buff isn’t one of my favorite colors but, like you said, it’s growing on me.
The grey geese are funny as heck!
They are great!
Did you ever post an update on the coyote traps you put out a while back?
No action on them yet for some reason
Hi Jordan, are you going to build a proper loft for the Racing Pigeons. You can get the young birds out and settled then. Why not go into the fur trade. Authentic Davy Crocket hats. 💯👍🏴🇬🇧
PS The DAVY CROCKET HATS, I WOULD LOOK INTO IT.
I need a proper loft so so bad! I’ll look into that hats! I have a feeling that I’ll get priced out pretty quickly
@@JordansHarvest YEAH AND TIMBER OVER THEIR IS EXPENSIVE. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WOULD BE BETTER TO BUY A LOFT OR BUY TIMBER TO BUILD ONE OR IF SOMEONE IS SELLING UP YOU COULD GET A GOOD LOFT CHEAP. HAVE A LOOK IN THE PIGEON MAGAZINE. 🌟👍
16:20 the light is candling that egg for you
😊😊😊
Always there man
Thank you!
I know how you feel.I left the farm for a day and when I can back I had lost close to 20 breeder chickens and 12 of my 14 pigeons.I turned out we had a weasel come pay a visit.I was so upset.Though I was glad that he left my two favorite pigeons Junior and Pablo Escobar
I’ve never had to deal with a weasel but they sound terrible!
@@JordansHarvest they are really bad about killing for fun.
Another great video
Thank you Randy!
Possums will steal eggs, but they also eat rats. I would be willing to bet it’s a raccoon or an opossums.
Don’t waste money on rat poison. Go to Walmart and buy some original Irish Spring bars of soap and tie or put them around your loft on the inside and outside it keeps the rodents and flies out. You can UA-cam or Google this valuable information and it works because of the strong fragrance 👍
Thanks for the tip!!
The first is male, and second female. Go by front claws and tail length.
Just put some hardware wire on the outside. Chicken wire can be bitten thru by animals. Even high up as they can climb. Rats, minks etc can all squeeze thru tiny holes. Those raccoons could easily come in from up high as well. Get an alpaca guard animal!
Another great vid
Thanks!
The Turkin rooster looks like a baby Ostrich
Lol! I see what your sayin!
Had a mink attack similar to the attacks on your farm. Lost a good number of birds, and two young rabbits.
Mink definitely are a possibility! I’m less then a mile from the river
Pigeons don't naturally roost high? That's a bummer. I suppose if you don't take them out, it's going to be a recurring problem. Did I miss the video when you unveiled your new critters for the pasture pen?
The new birds had to be pushed back another week! But hopefully that video will come out soon!
If you don't know what is getting into your barn get a cheap security cam from Walmart like the $19.00 Mercury brand that I use. It caught squirrels taking my eggs. I.D the culprit then take action.
Thanks for the tip dude!
@@JordansHarvest also a farmer that likes all sorts of birds but trail cams seam too expensive for barn monitoring. commented before watching all the vid. glad you caught the culprits. Also have coon trouble. Large box trap and peanut butter as bait works well for me. thank you for the loved comment
I'm sorry to hear about red.😞😟 he was a good pigeon.
R.I.P.
Little red
you have one of each I have Turtles like that
🤙🤙🤙
Good job 👏
Thanks!
Bro I built cub today gonna buy me a pair of fantail pigeons Saturday
Awesome! I hope you end up with Indian fantails!
Sorry about red man. Looks like she’s already missing a leg might be a hard one to trap. lol. Hope you get them tho
Time will tell!
Rip red
R.I.P.
I can not believe you don't a small mesh screen
Keep out the Varmints
I have many things that need improvement for sure!
Yet another great one!!
Thanks David!
We will miss red, but at least you still have red junio. I hope you can manage to stop your problem very soon.
Red definitely leaves a hole in the farm.
I hope that nothing else gets hit before I can remedy the situation
It’s possible but I don’t think it was the Racoons that killed Red, I have a feeling it was that cat.
That’s a possibility for sure!
Red Jr. Is a excellent name. You need to set some box cage traps and relocate the raccoons the grandboys loved this video!!!🙏😊
Thank you! I definitely need to fix the problem.
Thanks for letting the youngsters watch the video! It always makes me happy when I hear that the content is family approved!
Hey you have goodness ahead of you...I believe when you loose something good something greater is coming/going to happen, prepare you for it and be alert. It might be winning big pigeon races in the future or becoming one of the best racing pigeon breeders and frowback breeders or both of them.🙏😇🕊
*lose
Thanks so much for the encouragement!
Look into guard dogs or Barn cats
I might need to invest in a dog!
You need to put traps out at your own place. Sux but you now now what to do.
Keep on keeping on
I’ll definitely have to remedy the situation!
Love the vids👍
I’m glad you like them!!
M8 that pigeon posing was a num 1 shot in my book. Are you making it rich and famous ?
I saw the pudy cat and the garbage pandas attracted to your life stock., so next step is what ?
Toitles in the trap were great shots , amazing pets and good eating too .
Keep up the good work. 👍 God bless y'all.
Thanks for all your kind words Gus!
@@JordansHarvest you'll always be my m8 Jordan
Man you have to keep them safe from the racoon's but baby red sounds nice, R.I.P. Big Red Bird 🐦
R.I.P.
RIP Red!
R.I.P.
You should call the baby red modina (little red)
Lil Red!!!
Hello, sorry about Red.
R.I.P.
What do u do with the turtles dude??????
Well. Most are relocated. Some are dispatched
Organize a public land dove hunt meet and greet.
What the cost of an out of state license there?
I'll rent a 4banger to make the drive from Dallas TX.
That’s a great idea!!! I’ll definitely look into that!
Yes, we liked the video, although sorry about Red. Are all those critters caught on the camera a regular list of suspects out there every day and are you going to trap them to lessen your losses? always interesting to see what is happening on the farm.
I’m glad you liked the video!
I plan on “fixing” the problem
Not RED!!!!
Nnnooooooooooo
You should set some hand traps around the barn to catch them!
I like the way you think!
You should tidy up the farm and go hunt the rats and racun
I need to do this!
next youtube video ryan and the goslings
Lol!
I recommend yo Cuban pouter pigeons very fun pigeons once you learn what they are for
Food?
@@gonorrheadischarges3021 no it’s a typed pigeons it’s like the ones I have in my vids but I speak Spanish in them
@@geancarlos_palomasderobo5642 every thing in cuba is about "food" or the lack of it...
I will check your channel!I only understand Castellano,no basque, catalan, galician nor Calo..
Eso de "palomas de robo"...regular horny "buchonas"
@@gonorrheadischarges3021 I know what’s going on in Cuba it’s sad cause i have family i didn’t think you where talking about the needs in Cuba sorry
@@gonorrheadischarges3021 but also pouter pigeons are fun when it comes to catching other pigeons they are meant for that only if you agree in having it for that reason
Call him RJ! Red Jr.
I like it!
Pigeon vids>>>>
🤙🤙🤙
If you trap the rats...NO"CATCH AND COOK"...
Agreed!
How you make the cage pigeon
I need to make a new one! I’ll do a step by step on the next one
@@JordansHarvest the trapping cage
A couple of dogs running around would do a lot to keep raccoons away.
For sure!
Well for me I had a 🐀 dude it killed about 6 before I found out what it was
Hey, its probably rats because i had the same problem and whenever there was breeding i was losing chicks and eggs, the chicks cant fly or anything so they get eaten and the parents just fly on to the high perches, one day i was about to feed the pigeons and saw the rat eating a chick, the chick sadly dies but luckily we were able to save its nestmate. Poisen should do the job as it worked for me, good luck
I hope the poison cleans them up quickly!
Beautiful grizzled baby
Call him RJ for red junior just a idea bud
🤙🤙🤙
Okay man watched enough already. You the personality enough said. Content and beleaiver Hit me up.
Thanks dude!
@@JordansHarvest Dude you dont even know. Kinda what I do for a living
Get ferrets or ferret bedding scares rats away
Good to know!
Raccoons for me, are the most dangerous to animals, over coyotes and cats. It's a sure sign when the head is missing from carcass, and parts are left it's a racoon. Coyotes and cats will carry off animals. If you see one racoon you have to times it by 40. I had 30 chickens, and 2 geese kill in last two years, here in Kansas. They are hard to trap, definitely considering night vision optics, but they are so spardic when they show up, also. All is well though, hope you get your pesk. Lol
Raccoons can make a mess very quickly! And they are very good at it!
you have to contain them asap , otherwise you might lost many of your barn / farm animals aside from your pigeons , just concern only about your pets & other livestock in your barn / farm , or set a trap for them , once captured you may release them in a different location outside your vicinity , donated them to the zoo or wild life sanctuary but still it's up for you to decide , just an a option / suggestion only , if you don't mine , ok bro .
I’ll definitely have to get the situation under control soon! Thanks for all the suggestions
@@JordansHarvest wishing you good luck to you , to your entire family & to all your pets as well , always keep them safe , ok bro .
Red jr. Yep that's it.
👍👍👍
Boa noite a paz do senhor 🙏 muito lindo os pigeon 😍🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Luv the new look
Thanks!!
Beard looks good again 😘
🤙🤙🤙
There was six racoons there and a cat
Lots of problems running around
Maybe it's time to add a good coon dog to your farm?! Your son could adapt well with a good treeing walker. . . . Blessings! S. Carolina
There’s nothing like the sound a good hound makes! I’m sure my kids would love to see a pup show up though lol
I would love to see you make some caps with the skunk and raccoon furs. I think you would sell them fast.
I might have to look into that!
I am so sad bro I love read now he's gone
I’m super bummed about it
What city you at?🙏
I’m in central Kansas!
Both turtles are females, you can also tell if a turtle is male or female cause males will have an indention in there she'll to mount the female and females dont have that indent.

Call her strawberry

I think Red Jr is a good name. I named my roosters son little silver.

Name the goose with the white on the belly patches.
Pro red jr.
🤙👍👍
Name one “Big Ernie”, rip to Red
R.I.P.
Dang man you got a whole herd of trash pandas.
I really need to build a pigeon loft and start raising some.
It’s addictive dude!
You think it might be a weasel
Man I lost a about 10 chicks to rats this year before I found out what it was it suck always the best looking ones too
You always loose the best ones first, never fails.
Hey does anyone know what age to start training pigeons? Also, how would I go about the training
That depends, how old are they and how long are they flying when you let them out?
@@kevinnorton7759 I have babies, what age should I let them fly out, I don’t want to wait to long because I heard they’ll fly to far if they’re wings are too strong and they’ll get lost
@@logangower8615 YOU SHOULD HAVE THEM PARTED FROM THEIR PARENTS AT 24 DAYS OLD AND PUT INTO A SEPRATE SECTION OR LOFT. LEAVE THEM IN THE LOFT A FEW DAYS WITH FOOD AND WATER IN FRONT OF THEM ALL THE TIME UNTIL THEY ARE 30 DAYS OLD. THE DAY BEFORE YOU LET THEM OUT, TAKE THE CORN OUT OF THE LOFT AROUND 2 O'CLOCK. THEN WHEN YOU LET THEM OUT THEY WILL BE HUNGRY ENOUGH TO COME BACK IN. WHEN YOU GET THEM BACK IN FEED THEM UNTIL MOST OF THEM HAVE GONE TO THE DRINKER THEN TAKE THE FOOD STRAIGHT OUT. LET THEM OUT EVERY AFTERNOON AND FEED THEM THAT WAY YOU WON'T GO WRONG. JUST LET THEM OUT FOR AN HOUR AND CALL THEM BACK IN. ONLY CALL THEM WHEN YOU HAVE GOT FOOD FOR THEM THAT WAY THEY ASSOCIATE YOUR CALL WITH FOOD. GIVE THEM FRESH GRIT EVERY DAY AND MINERALS. IF THEIR IS ANYTHING ELSE YOU ARE NOT SURE OF LET ME KNOW. HOPE THIS HAS HELPED YOU.
PS. THEY WILL FLY WHEN THEY ARE READY, DON'T CHASE THEM ABOUT. 🌟💯👍🏴
@@kevinnorton7759 Thank you, but one question, I heard you should separate them from the parents when the bottom of their wings are fully feathered, is that correct
@@logangower8615 YES, WHEN THEY ARE FULLY COVERED UNDER THE WING THATS CORRECT. ALSO AN INCH OF TAIL NEVER FAIL. IF YOU PUT THEM A POT OF CORN IN THE NEST BOX YOU WILL SEE THEM EAT WHEN THEY ARE READY. 🌟👍
