Yes, the paper in fairytales and folklore is thick but I completely agree with you that it needs more tooth! My polychromos weren’t the best on it, prismacolor was better for me. Just like in her other book, I wanted to get my inktense pencils on it. I finally did it and I don’t think I’m going to go back to regular pencils again! I used the front pages to test things out too. I would def be interested in seeing you test different mediums on it! For sure hooked in for a color along in it!!! ❤
Beautiful pages as always Karen. My favourites are the hamster and Fairytales and Folklore. I just love the bright, vibrant colours on these pages.I would love to see a video that tests various pencils in Fairytales, particularly Polys, Holbeins, Luminance, Inktense and Artezas. A colour along in this book would be amazing as well. 💕🪻💜
Love these pages as always! Wish I could follow along with the polychromos color alongs too but I don’t have them yet the plan was to get them last month but unfortunately we were hit with 2 hurricanes back to back so it looks like it will be a while before I can afford to order them now. ❤

I get my Fairytales book in 3 days. I hope so much, that my Pablos will work well at least. (I have Pablos and Polys) If not, I'll prime with Albrecht Dürers beforehand. That gives a bit more structure to the paper. (Or I spray the page with workable fixative 😂) Something has to work. 🤞🤞

All of your pages are amazing! ❤ The Fantomorphia page is definitely my favorite. But the European hamster from Fragile Worlds is absolutely adorable too.
If you’re taking color along requests, I would love to see something from Fairytales and Folklore. Though anything you do is wonderful. 😊

Karen as to Fairy Tales and Folklore paper. I’ve colored a bunch of pages in it ( all posted in your FB group) and the latest finish used some Derwent Drawing pencils which worked extremely well so that tells u everything. Wax !! 😊. And Artezas worked well and I don’t have a full set of Luminance ( just splurged on a set of 40) and those were easy to use on the paper as well. Water mediums work well. Not a crinkle or buckle. ❤️
Thanks hun, It’s really helpful to know that Derwent Drawing pencils, Artezas, and Luminance work well on the paper for you. I've heard some others have had issues with Luminance. I'm currently using Inktense and Polys and they're so far working well for me.

Beautiful colouring pages Karen 😊 my favourite has to be the hamster 🐹 he’s so cute and your page turned out so lovely 🥰 but all your pages are just so beautiful 🤩 I do want to colour along the double page in Rooms of Wonder ( it would make a good Halloween 🎃 colouring). I would love you to do a colour along in Fairytales and Folke law please, I have the book but was unsure what pencils are going to work best. Thankyou for sharing, I always look forward to seeing 💕

Thank you so much! ❤️ Unfortunately the CC button is not available unless subtitles have been added either automatically or manually. They don’t add automatically on my long videos and I can’t enter them in manually, so for that video CC isn’t an option yet. Still working on it though 😊
@@MyColourfulCountryLife I see what you mean now. I just checked your color along on the European Hamster and it won't let me click on the CC button for that one. This video allowed me to use that function. Love your channel. Thanks for sharing!
