  • Today, I helped shuck corn that was harvested from a family friend's farm. As they do not use pesticides, the corn occasionally had a big grub beneath the leaves, and when I realized no pesticides were used, I believed I had a treat for my Cichlids in my hands.
I took a few home, and fed them to my Cichlids, and they went absolutely nuts, especially the Oscars. Seeing how all the worms ate was a bunch of corn most likely, it likely wasn't the healthiest thing they've ever eaten, but I'm sure it was a tasty treat for them.
My tank is 125 Gallons, and contains the following:
    2 Tiger Oscars
    2 Firemouth Cichlids
    1 Green Severum
    1 Jack Dempsey Cichlid
    1 Fully Grown Pleco
