*At secret sessions she had to run out of the room every time they played this song because she couldn't stand even listening to it. She said she's most likely never perform it. Now, when the world needed hope the most, she gathered her strength and showed vulnerability by singing the song that brings hope to so many people despite it being so emotional to her that she had to hold back tears and couldn't look into the camera. She did it for the world. And THAT is why she is worthy of the title Artist Of The Decade*

I agree with everything you just said about her. No one likes to see her in this much pain but she performed it anyway because so much people are able to connect with her on a much deeper more personal level. Not many artists are brave enough to do what she's just done.

I was officially broken after hearing her perform this- she didn't have to perform this. she could have picked any of her other songs. she picked the song she said she would never perform live- because she knew it's what the world needed right now. knew that everyone effected by the virus felt so helpless..is feeling how she is feeling in that song. I'm still so stunned by it all.

You can barely hear her because you can tell how it is hurting her. All praise to you fantastic wife!!! Many prayer! This was my first time hearing it!! I’m blown away! Taylor chose to go through all those painful moments just to assure the rest of the world that they will be okay. Thats why she didnt talk at all. She was holding her tears back. I love her more every day, not only as an artist (she is the best) but also as a person. :)

Jana Hearing “You’ll never walk alone” ,when they played it at dozens of European radio stations at the same time, did it for me. Back then I cried to let out the anxiety over all of the uncertainties of the situation. Hearing Taylor’s song made me cry because I don’t know when I’ll be able to see my mom and other family (who live abroad) again.

I cannot handle this song... I cry every. single. time. Every single thing she sings is so fucking true. You sit at your mother's hospital bedside over and over and over and you place all your hopes on orange bottles filled with medicine to try to make it better, and *it doesn't work* and you watch your favorite person in the world and best friend just wither away and you're terrified 24/7. And it can--and has--last years. And I really just can't...😭😭

But then Corona happened, and she knew that the song could help people who were going through a situation very similar to what she had to go through when her mom had to do chemo. When I first watched this I thought Taylor really looked like she was crying right before recording. Like she’s been trying to get through it for a few takes.

knowing that she said she was never going to perform this live but she knew that it would help make people feel better in these trying times, her heart is unreal.

The fact that she had the courage to perform this, and to do so for this purpose is so courageous and beautiful. I keep imagining she’s looking at Joe when she looks off camera. Whether that’s true or not, I am hoping she had that support here and someone to hold her when she finished this performance.

    She looks so, so sad.
I find this song hard to listen to as I lost three grandparents to cancer and it brings back a lot of pain. I can't imagine how much it having it performed hurts for Taylor and her family while they continue to fight. So proud of her for doing this, it was so brave.

I cannot emphasise how proud i am of Taylor Alison Swift. This woman is so brave to perform a song she said she can't ever perform and the way she is saying that soon you'll get better i can't even, the best person ever yupyup.

I was so surprised when she chose to sing this. I was at one of the secret sessions for this album, and the heartbreak on her face when she was introducing this song and seeing her run out of the room after pressing play on the song is permanently imprinted in my brain. We had a group crying session during this song and passed around tissues. Taylor is so strong for performing this song.

Every time I hear "This won't go back to normal, if it ever was. It's been years of hoping but I keep saying it because I have to." I lose it!!!! My grandaddy has lung cancer and right now he's okay but I don't know what I'm going to do if I lose him. I lost my mom and Gmaw and I feel like one more loss will break me.

I have been a huge Swiftie for years. My mother passed away in November after being sick for my whole life. Recently, my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. Needless to say, this is one of the few Taylor Swift songs I have a really hard time listening to. This and Ronan. But I watched this entire video, gave it a like, and cried.

I'd be interested in watching your reactions to more Home Free. They just released one called "Quarantine" and "Down to the Honkytonk" both are very funny as all the guys are still in lockdown mode, or Man of Constant Sorrow would be great too. Looking forward to more Home Free!

Thank you to your wife for all she does ❤️ I haven’t left my house in over a month now, but I’m ok with that because I’m helping keep people like your wife, my grandparents, my step-brother with cystic fibrosis, and grandpa with cancer, and so many more safe. STAY HOME. Yes it sucks. But it’s worth it.
