I graduated from mich in1980 December knew 3 yrs ago this group was special Harbaugh built dream team thanks for memories for rest of my days go blue forever!
I can tell that was meant to be a QB run. Bama pulls the right tackle for a run block and Michigan stayed in run zone coverage and picked it up fast. Top notch well coached defense. Go Blue!
I graduated in 1997, that's when the last time we won the championship. The first half we were excited and confident, clearly the second half Bama made some adjustments, seems the game slowly slipped away, we were down 7 and with little more than 4 minutes to go, Pretty nervous, But this team did it. BTW My son was a senior in the marching band. What a year! 15-0
It's kind of far away, but from that angle you can see how number 5, Josiah Stewart, drove that OL right into the QB, tripping/knocking him over. It broke up the play. And that OL had to weigh about 100 lbs more than Stewart. Had to be one of the greatest plays I've seen in Michigan football - or any college football - in 50 years of watching.
This vantage best shows 245lbs Michigan Edge Josiah Stewart (#5) drove blocking the Tide's 360lbs all-SEC O-lineman JC Latham (#65) right into Milroe's path. Milroe tripped over Latham's leg, stumbled, and doomed the run and Alabama's dreams.. Latham and Milroe laid there for a while; Latham grabbing his leg Milroe had tripped over, and Milroe on his face with a bruised ego. Go Blue! 〽🏆 🌹🏆.

Sorry Alabama, but this year was ours from the first day of spring practice.
Unbeatable no matter all the issues and distractions.
