1st time blue screen weather forecast

- This is my 1st time ever in front of a chroma key blue screen, giving a live weather forecast. There were no scripts, just the images we had to work with. Also we never practiced in front of a blue screen before and you can only do one take. This was done for a group lab in school so we would get a taste what it's like creating a forecast and being on tv. I think I did pretty good for my 1st time ever, and yes I was nervous as hell.
This is NOT a BSoD. If you view this video without reading the description and then bitch about it not being a BSoD I hope you get raped by a moose.
It was done at the SUNY Oneonta tv station. There was no crew, just our class of 5 people. We did it for a lab, just to see in a very brief overview of what it would be like to work on tv. We all created the forecast in the previous hour. Then each one of us had to play anchor, then meteorologist, then guy with headphones giving directions. We then watched the recordings of ourselves the next week and had a good laugh.
I have to admit, I got here from a BSoD video, but I watched anyway. I think you did a really good job on it.
Your video is awesome!!!! Very good for a class project, you really know your stuff, you spend so much time on those maps, thats absolutly ridiculous, one day your gonna be an awesome weather man!

reflection of lights makes your tie bluish on some areas. it becomes transparent if you will watch closely.

BSoD is the Blue Screen with error messages that use to appear when Microsoft Windows systems hang.

It was live in the sense that we all only did one take. This was never aired.

I hear the most used one is green-screen, And i remember there is a Blue screen demo in a Techniquest in south wales, even with a towel sized peice of blue felt to hide yourself from the camera.. funniest 5 mins as a kid i think.
i think they mean blue screen (like green screen) but i was also expecting a blue screen of death to pop up
Was redircted here from a BSoD video, it would have been enternating seeing it in a live brodcast but oh well, still good forcast though I'm not into the news that much.

Nope, was a 1 time thing for class. I may do some more green screen this semester for the school, just to get resume fodder and for fun. I'm not interested at all in doing tv.
Yep, when this was taped the background was blue, hence the blue screen. They painted it to green about a week later.

I think you badly read the info about this video. This is NOT about BSOD....He is writing about that he forecasting IN FRONT OF THE BLUE SCREEN - something like the CHROMA-KEY, used in MOVIE TRICKS, EFFECTS and DIGITAL STUDIOS ;)

Yea, I had a small screen to the front of me, and to the right of me. All it showed was what you could see on the video.

U did pretty good for a first timer with the weather, but could tell u have never done it before. However imo, you have done a way better job than the girl did. She was pretty bad and she said way less than you did.
