This isn’t an update it’s a repost from May 2023
😂😂😂😂😂
How do they even let it go more then 1 yr, going to be 2 yr hows that even possible
Its obvious they’re trying to get us to quit bargaining and settle for less. Knowledge is power
At this point I’ll believe it when I see it. I have zero confidence in our union. It’s a disgrace
Be grateful, you could have the nrlca union like me
This crap is pathetic I’m over this union honestly
Why can’t mailman take strikes? We are union rite?
Its a federal crime for us to strike as of 1970s the last time they did strike
Thanks renfraud for the typical 1.3% annually and extend the years to max to 18years.
So essentially they decided to take another week vacation before doing anything… sounds about right.
Exactly, just postponing the money they’ll be losing
I have my paper work ready. Getting out. It’s a joke
Vote no y'all let's geaux to arbitration
Straight mess smh
Hey how you doing man
Good
Trump 2024
Trump's goal is to eliminate all government workers unions, good luck to you, you just became a Fed ex ground, amazon driver. Working for a sub contractor no benefits no NOTHING
Is trump pro union?
@@davidjeremiah420he is not
Yes he’s the president 💪
@@colesworld6655 he's a d bag
I’m expecting an immediate $1 raise and then another $3 throughout the length of the contract. Backpay is still up in the air. The longer we wait, the less likely backpay is. Just a prediction.
If that happens, there will be an 80 percent rejection if that happens.
1 freakin dollar??? Bro. Mcdonalds flippers with all due respect make 20 dollars!!! F that. A new career mailman should start at 26-28$ nothing less
I mean, they "said" emphatically that there will be backpay. it was in the union newsletter, quoting the union vice president. We'll see tho...
During these intense “, “negotiations”…. is it the left hand or the right hand used in collective bargaining….. this crap is just that crap…. decertify!!!!!!!
I just want to know wtf are we negotiating. That’s what I want to know. They just say a lot of nothing.
A lot of nothing ,
Would have been better to say we have decided to take a week in July to finish both parties negotiation proposition . Then give us the members specific details on what he is aiming for ! Like how much dollar amount increase , steps of new merge table , etc that would be an update !
It’s ridiculous!
We the members need to take this as an example that next election everyone needs to vote for new leadership !
New leadership is on the way !
The Lions are coming !
Shout out to you my brother !
South Florida Branch 1071 !
It doesn't take this long to figure out if it's negotiable. Not buying it for a minute! Anything less then what UPS will be the proof!
Nalc is a Joke
I read the update and thought... that's alot of words to say nothing!
Same wash rinse and repeat contract with same 1.3 raises . And a new OTDL options to work us more. Maybe a move to one payscale that's the only money bump we likely to see.
What was released was a bunch of bullshit, like always, tell us what has been agreed to, so that we have an idea of what we might be getting in a new contract but no he doesn't let people know anything but that we are going to be negotiating for a week in July, total bullshit like always
Congratulations on the pregnancy, good luck!🍀
This is the same scenario as last contract. Since the USPS has no accountability they extended contract negotiations as long as they could. Now they are in a dilemma, should they cave into the NALC’s demands or take a chance in binding arbitration. And the current third party arbitrator Nolan is the same one we had in the prior negotiations. And not only does the postal service have to resolve our contract, after us they have to negotiate with the clerks and rural carriers. And those two unions are sitting back and seeing what we get and will ask for the same.
Binding arbitration is a long and expensive process and one would think the USPS will want to avoid it. The NALC is actually doing the right thing by calling the USPS’s bluff and agreeing to extending these negotiations before committing to binding arbitration.
Hopefully we will get an announcement of the contract sometime in July. After which we will need to vote on it which will bring us into September. 3 to 6 months for back pay brings us between January to the end of March 2025.
All this for a 1.3%
All I heard was bs!
Refraud gonna get his mini fridge stocked every day in that hotel room . Thanks Matt
Renfroe bourbon hunting
*Bro Just Stop With The Updates & Wait Til It Happens. At This Point It’s Looking Like You Want The Views*
A week in a hotel on the union dime seems nice
I agree with the anger, but that is exactly what management would like to see us quit the union then we will see even less money and be told to shut up So we all need to pay dues, and voice our views and vote for change in 2026 with an entire mindset moving forward as this process has shed the light what a joke the upper echelon of this union stand for. Renfroe is only chirping a bit now as the pressure is on a bit. I hope he gets sent packing back to carry mail in the head of Mississippi unless he pulls off a miracle of 2% or higher a year instead of us wagging our tails with 1.3 or less!
It better be more than 2%. Inflation has been 13% for some time now
@@371kenny I would be surprised if we even hit 2% a year, but UPS contract should help ours , but we won't match them at 50/hour top of scale in this deal anyhow.
@19knight21 no but by law we have to be competitive in salary with them.
I can’t picture us jumping in joy to vote yes
Good call on the location. Don't wake the bear! Congratulations!
Trump 24. The new contract wouldnt be such a big deal if Biden didnt have everything costing 50% more
Trump had us bring back mail everyday just to make 8 don’t forget
Lies people worked crazy overtime due to covid@@GhostPower-c9t
@@GhostPower-c9tThat's happening everyday with their summer no ot just move faster directives 😂 nope can't finish in 8 with no assistance and no ot authorized... shit gets brought back. Following orders. 😂😂😂
An extra week on the first week of July sounds like a free holiday
We’re looking at backpay for almost a year and a half
Cant we switch to a new Union ??????
Congratulations my Brother, and thanks for all u do....
This is my first thumbs up to any of this commentator's videos that have anything to do with the NALC contract negotiations . I'm not going to speak about what I didn't like about the others and just elaborate on what I like in this one . The best part about this one is that he just gave us the information without sharing his opinion about the information . We are all a part of one of the largest labor unions in the world and public in-house fighting really makes us look bad . I have no problems with any member voicing disapproval of the managers , but in-house disagreements should never be made public . So thank you my Brother for giving me the news on the progress of our contract negotiations . That's all I got my Brothers and Sisters , y'all stay united and better days will come to us , peace from the "Lower 9th Ward" of New Orleans and I'm out 🎭
I seek alternate opinions so that I may challenge my own opinions. In a group as large as our Union there are many unique perspectives. I will not shut out those opinions and perspectives for spite or stubbornness. I might learn something or change my own opinions if someone offers something insightful or that I haven’t thought of before on my own.
Why waste time making a video when there is NO real
Update
Is there a way to suggest 10 hour day 4 day work week. Maybe that would solve having weekends off and the t6 bid wouldn’t be removed if they went weekends off?
😂 no because I'm sure t6 would like to have a weekend off also they aren't going to do 4 day work weeks
5 days is just fine and normal
@@thatguyakid4250 Y'all working 5?! I just got off an 11 day stretch and my PM tried to call me in on my 2 days off, which would've put me on a 16 day stretch.
I think he was suggesting a schedule that will allow for consecutive days off. If you want to attract new employees, balance is important. Split days off, if you even can get your two days off during the week, sucks. No time to do anything and I feel that the younger work force is looking at the older generations burning out their bodies and not having time to actually live a life. The post office of M-F work days is long gone and it really is a 7 day operation. I would personally prefer to work a 4/3 or even just rotate days each week. Multiple ways to schedule a 7 day work week to achieve 2 days off in a row. Many jobs, police/health, etc. utilize various schedules to staff. The two consecutive days don’t have always be sat and sun. Just two days together allows you to go up north, work on your house, etc. I think it is an important point for next contract. Obviously there are a lot of issues that need to be negotiated, but I think work day scheduling is a big issue for employee retention and will continue to be unless a better schedule rotation is put into place. Employee burn out is a killer and the USPS work schedule is not attractive for any kind of life balance. Stay safe and have a blessed week!
@@IvyNemeth-m3d for sure man. I completely agree. Burned thru 4 employees in 6 months (small office) due to overwork.
And the "old guard" employees dont help with their "suck it up" attitude....and then complain when we're understaffed and they're forced to work Sundays and split routes
Congrats!
How can I dm u video ?
Whoa! Lol you just reminded me of old youtube days of video responses.
Im leaving the union if the raise is BS
be sure to vote NO and THEN leave, if that's the case
