Nice job Mr Wilburt. Mr. Hal you called it a Cement Mixer 😲. Us mixer operators get offended when someone calls it a Cement Mixer. It's a Concrete Mixer Mr Hal. 😭🤣😂😂😭🤣 I'm not offended but I will correct you on it. Just remember that Cement is a powder just like flour and that will help you. Cement is transported in a Bulker to the Concrete or Redi Mix plant then stored in silos until it is directly injected with all the other material into the Concrete Mixer. I know that you already know this Mr Hal. I was just letting your viewers know. We do the same thing with contractors, if we think we're going to get stuck we make them sign the delivery slip and tell them if we get stuck they are 100% responsible for the tow bill. Trivia I was told by a few cement truck drivers that in an emergency you can prevent a load from hardening in the drum with a 5 lb bag of sugar

This reminds me when I was working for Dolese concrete when I got the truck stuck in sand , that had to unload 10 yards by wheel barrel an dug myself out. You always want to make sure of safety that you are able to get to the area to pour concrete.

Those hand held remotes work so well on recovery jobs like this. You can walk back and watch the truck-then just turn your head/watch the wrecker. Sure wish I'd had them back in the 80/90's with a Holmes 600 and 750's. But that is how you learned...

Glad that driver made the contractor responsible. I drove a 10 yd boost a load for 20 years. A couple big tow bills and they find out a concrete pump might be a cheaper option in the long run...Mr Wilbert did an excellent job...stay safe

I use to run across that same scenario with contractors. No I am not dumping there with my framed dump trailer I my not rolling it. If the got to grumpy I d start driving away with there load. I made one guy chase me for 1/2 hour and still told I'm not come back. He paid me a hundred buck to come back . Yes he called my boss but I called my boss first. Do what you want I do not want to lose you or my truck and trailer .

I'm surprised they even take those butt dumper mixers off road with only having rear wheel drive. All our concrete mixers are front discharged and have 6 wheel drive.
