  • As I was away on vacation, I learned some pretty important information about my family's mental health history.

Very interesting! I definitely understand how this can help. I was diagnosed last year as autistic at age 28 and a couple weeks ago got my official inattentive adhd diagnosis. My dad is self diagnosed adhd as well, but the more I talk to my grandmother (from my mother's side) the more I think she might be autistic. I lost my mom when I was little, so my grandmother was a huge female role model in my life. It makes so much sense the things she would do for me, like making sure everything was structured (she loves little rituals) and clearly communicated and making me have "quiet time" to regain my energy.
The other day I asked her for advice since I want to get into philosophy and she has studied philosophy, she got so enthousiastic. Send me three separate emails about specific books/philosophers and brought me like 10+ books to pick from. If that isn't special interest infodumping I don't even know 💜😂
