Can You Use a Utility Trailer For Your Boat?

Why spend more money when you can use your perfectly fine utility trailer of really, any size to haul your boat around and make loading and unloading your small craft MUCH easier on yourself. I use a Tractor Supply 5x8 Utility Trailer to haul my 10.2' Pond Prowler Pontoon Boat and it has been working like a charm since uploading this video! Remember, don't dunk your trailer in the water!

I have the same trailer and bought some yellow visible balls from Walmart auto section. The extend up and have magnetic bases. Out them on the back of the trailer to see backing up. That is what they are designed for.

You can also buy any of the utility trailers from Harbor Freight or Northern tool. I bought one and built it and put some plywood down on it and covered it with outdoor carpet. Works great.

I’d love to do that to mine. Maybe I can find a small, used cheap one and make those mods. Even jet ski trailers are expensive here
