I also don't really like the fact that you seem to get sucked into the "fighting over a screen animation" when you weren't even close to it.
Same with the box out animation. Even as a big on a fast break if my team puts up a shot I'll get boxed out by a PG at the 3 point line and have no shot of getting around him
@@slattszn2412 lol not at all, but if we're running side by side and I'm not even his man why do I get sucked into a box out animation? at the 3 point line no less, when I have minimal chance of grabbing a rebound but the PG he left to box me out is now open if we grab the offensive board or can grab a long rebound himself
Also, the when you call a pick, the AI nearly always goes on the wrong side (the right side is the hand you're holding the ball). Also, they'll come to do the screen animation, but won't come close enough and roll without actually setting the pick.

They get wide open misses 95% of the time, but green 98% contested shots 100% of the time. Or they Very Late a 100% smothered shot after an offensive rebound just to make it.
Cpu alley oops are op as hell, especially on the higher difficulties, they always work even in heavy transition. And there's no real way to stop it, a block or a steal does absolutely nothing.
James Burgess ya and they don't even do it on pick and rolls or anything just completely randomly with no player movement at all they just throw a lob and there's a dunk

Alright, Dom, I got you. My list: 1. When I hold the stick towards the hoop and my slashing post scorer shrinks away and bricks 2. Missing open layups without truly being contested 3. HoF AI that steals the ball as soon as you’re outta the triple threat 4. Horrible defenders (Isaiah Thomas) become straight *gods* on HoF defense 5. When you do an icon pass and they do the dumbest pass possible 6. Too many fouls from the AI 7. When an AI is open at the three point line and then cuts in as soon as you pass it, resulting in a turnover 8. Full bar releases not greening, for real 9. AI that just let the defense right past them, even with Draymond Green on defense 10. Lockdowns getting cheese animations, like stealing the ball as the dribbler is protecting it 11. Sharps being even more overpowered and abusing screens 12. Shot creators hitting from Curry range when not in Takeover 13. Hitting X instantly turns into a foul no matter what 14. 2K’s way of screwing your guy’s defensive stats up (7’3” slashing post gets about a ~70 IQ on defense this year...) 15. 2K’s MyPlayer overall system. It doesn’t average your guy’s attributes; they just raise your “overall” after you spend a certain amount of VC. Go look; I think you’ll see what I mean when buying attributes for your player.
If you go into the Create a Player tab in the menu and recreate your MyPlayer, I guarantee you it’ll only be a 92ovr, intangibles and durability maxed, of course. If you recreate a 7ft Post Scorer’s attributes, it only goes up to a 92-93, even with intangibles and durability at 99.
Dre Has the Best Beats I did bro I’m a 94 shot creator I remade him and was an 88 I got unlimited attribute boost too so I plus 5 to all my shooting and stuff and still was only a 91 2k been doing this I played with my 94 in 2k17 at the blacktop and all my grades were bad and could hardly do anything during the game with him 🤦🏿♂️
1) You pull up for a wide open mid range on the fast break with a good shooter, and NOBODY anywhere near you and it bricks. 2) When you ISO on the wing and go to drive, and your teammate runs his man over right into you and bump steals the ball. 3) When you throw the alley oop to your center who has a clear path to the bucket and your guy tosses up this weak rainbow or blows it right over his head. Both players have silver Lob City or better. It's like the AI is screwing you into an automatic turnover even on a solid play call. 4) You throw the OOP and the finisher blows the wide open dunk. 5) How 90% of the time time you poke the ball loose, it falls right at the AI's feet and he recovers the ball, usually then throwing a dart to a streaking teammate or pulls up and drains a 3 like he never lost the ball. 6) When you kick to the corner to a shooter with 90+ 3 and he bricks it, then the AI comes down and hits a 3 with two guys hanging all over him on the VERY NEXT PLAY. 7) When you jump up for a rebound and the ball hits you on the head or back and kicks to the guy you are guarding, who proceeds to dunk on you. 8) When you hit triangle to call for a quick outlet pass off the rebound, but the AI steals it and you jump randomly in the middle of nowhere, and the computer calls it "bad block attempt" and dings your teammate grade. 9) When you pull up for what is clearly an open shot, and the AI calls it lightly contested, making you miss and draining your entire takeover meter in the process.
Dom Bro since that NBA footage going on bring back a newer version or something similar to 3 kings of NY that was a fyer series bro. but keep the grind up bro
Most infuriating for me is when a defender falls for my pump fake, goes up for the block and then magically sticks to me as I try to move past or still somehow bothers the shot despite the fact they should have been out of position
Matthew Bless lol a few yrs ago every time u pumped fake successfully u automatically drew a foul and got 2 shots which doesn't sound so bad but gets annoying cuz u shud have had a wide open dunk and now u need to make 2 free throws and some guys can't shoot free throws
The one with the cutting into the paint when you’re wide open for a jumper is giving me heart attacks. I try to grind on my career to get dimer on a post scoring playmaking sf but Damian Lilard will be wide open for a 3 but decides to cut into the paint where the 4s & 5s are and it gives me a turnover which messes up my teammate grade
when you get a steal but then you immediately turn it over for no reason so now the other team gets a wide open dunk because your entire team is already down the court
Not being rewarded for blocks or great pass lane defenses. 74% my blocks or tips magically go to a open guy on the other team for a easy basket. I lost a my team game because apparently professional basketball players can't catch a ball.
When you play transition defense and all of your ai teammates are obsessed with covering the paint leaving shooters wide open. Also in one on one transition, they stand too deep and catch posters every time
Directional passing, the stupid cuts, and getting stuck in an animation is the most annoying thing ever. I was playing 2k19 on pro against the warrior just because I forgot to change my settings and I ended up getting 8 TO’s because of these specific things
On Locked player modes, anytime the cpu is on a fastbreak in a 1 on 1 situation, your ai teammate will stand underneath the basket and the AI takes an easy uncontested midrange energy single time, and your teammates never learns. If they stepped forward just a couple of feet, it wouldn't happen.
Number 5 made me slightly mad even thinking about its so true 😂. An extra one, height meaning nothing in shots/layups. Yao can't lean over a small forward without getting a bump backwards animation for example.
What I’ve seen for 2k this year is that even if the transparent circle stays underneath the player you want to pass it to, sometimes the pass will still go to a random location. It’ll be times where I would see the circle underneath the players I wanted after the pass has been thrown to another player.
5:52 I’ve seen experienced a ton on 2K Mobile and it used to cost me so many turnovers and unfuriated me. Seemingly the moment I pass to an open player or while the pass is on its way he cuts in the lane behind a defender and they get a deflection or more commonly a steal. I feel like it’s happened less nowadays but also now if a player is open in the corner or elbow that’s basically the only time I’ll pass cuz that’s when he’s immediately open and there’s no one close to him
Sometimes when im on defence and the other team is on a 2 and 1 fastbreak my player will grab one of the players and the author player will be completly open
when the other teams PG is calling for a pick and roll from a big man and my C switches when I've already gotten over the screen and then the other teams C is wide open for a dunk
When you're spamming circle to get into the game faster out of the timeout and the inputs carry over and your guy falls down, gets back up in time, but enters an animation in which they start brushing themselves off after the fall leading to an easy 2 points for the opponent.
One of the most annoying things gotta be when you seem like you’re going to get a breakaway dunk but your player decides to cock the ball back before he dunks so the trailing defender can block it. I absolutely hate it when I get screwed out of those two points
Reach in fouls is fixable with sliders. My biggest issue was fast breaks on 2k cam, where your controlled player freezes/takes a step back when the camera reverses. But since -16 I've switched to broadcast. You can find tons of issues in this game, but for me being myleague player, most of them is fixable with sliders
The worse thing is when you’re battling someone shot for shot and then your coach calls a random timeout. When I the shot button on a fast break thinking I’m going to do a dunk or even when I lose my man to open lane in the half court set and go for a layup but get caught in a pointless pull up And when I’m playing good defense and don’t even jump but use the right stick to contest but my teammate has to foul the opponent when he goes for a post hook or a contested layup, and it’s always when there’s a pick and roll situation.
What about when you try to pass or shoot it and it doesnt work. You even spam the button to pass or shoot and it just gets stuck. Game is full of glitches
The thing i hate most is when I pass to someone in fast break and the ball somehow magically hits and opponent's head or back while they aren't even watching the ball. And don't get me started on the back catch, like you pass the ball and somehow the defender has eyes behind his eyes and he catches the ball behind the back like that's some bs...
Bruh.. the cutting in when open is the single most frustrating thing in 2k besides steal spamming. It literallly makes no sense. You are about to kick it to the open man on the wing/in the corner and the BAM! as you pass it he cuts STRAIGHT INTO A DEFENDER. I had to stop playing with one of my friends because his whole game plan is to throw double team after double team at you and every time he does, the open guy either runs straight up to me (not punishing the double team spam at all), or runs into an opposing defender so if I pass it to him its either stolen or some stupid animation fumbles it and it's a turnover anyway. Shit gets me so heated I almost kicked my tv the last time we played. I had to take a couple weeks off 2k.
When the foul gets called as soon as you press the button to steal and you hear the whistle before the animation to reach even starts, just to watch your hand clip straight through the ball and you don’t even end up touching the opp
I Hate when you’re trying to go for a layup but it gives you a floater animation for no reason, especially if I’m in the middle of the paint with no one in front of me
The only thing i hate is shots under the basket going behind or under the backboard. Pretty much everything else i can understand or at least tolerate.
My biggest annoying thing is when you're trying to do a dribble move at the top of the three point line, but a bigger defender in front of you kinda bumps into you, and you get some trash ass animation where your dude just fucken books it backwards for no reason, and gets a halfcourt violation.
My mans....can we talk about how for about a decade the refs get stuck holding the ball and you sit there for 10 minutes waiting to inbound...I think it’s pretty much fixed this year but every once in a while....
How about on a fast break when ur players are sitting in the paint even though your center is there already as they watch the ball get passed to their man for a open three
Who else hates when your guys goes up for an over complicated layup and gets blocked by someone only in position because you’re doing a reverse or some other b.s
Another thing is taking a shot you don't want like when you're driving and try to take an open pull up midrange but the player instead continues for a contested layup, makes me wanna go play 8 Ball Pool instead every time..
or when u get the bs scoop layup animation when ur wide open under basket and I mean WIDE open but I guess ur too far under basket or something and u lay it up behind the backboard like the ball goes under the backboard and out of bounds but this only happens on a driving layup not a standstill layup so u can never tell that it’s about to happen bc ur under the basket or nothing like that
The most annoying thing in 2k is if you fake a shot and the defender jumps, then when you go for the easy basket they get blocked by the guy you sent flying
I apologize in advance, I didn't have a footage bookmarked for about two of these because I haven't been snapshotting when they happen. But you know what I'm talking about.

10. Lockdowns getting cheese animations, like stealing the ball as the dribbler is protecting it
11. Sharps being even more overpowered and abusing screens
12. Shot creators hitting from Curry range when not in Takeover
13. Hitting X instantly turns into a foul no matter what
14. 2K’s way of screwing your guy’s defensive stats up (7’3” slashing post gets about a ~70 IQ on defense this year...)
15. 2K’s MyPlayer overall system. It doesn’t average your guy’s attributes; they just raise your “overall” after you spend a certain amount of VC. Go look; I think you’ll see what I mean when buying attributes for your player.
Dre Has the Best Beats point guards be strong as hell on hall of fame u can out weight him and everything and he still don’t move sometimes
The last one is true. Think about it 95-99s overalls have starts like they were 80s overalls
Dre Has the Best Beats I did bro I’m a 94 shot creator I remade him and was an 88 I got unlimited attribute boost too so I plus 5 to all my shooting and stuff and still was only a 91 2k been doing this I played with my 94 in 2k17 at the blacktop and all my grades were bad and could hardly do anything during the game with him 🤦🏿♂️
Thank you! Feels good not to be the only one that has the same opinion
When you switch to one of your other defenders to contest a shot and he’s frozen for some reason and 2k will not let you move him no matter what.
N7pirate that has never happened to me
You know that one where the cpu is in the 3 point line then the defender from your team just goes straight to paint instead of guarding the player.
When a player shoots a pull-up when u driving into the paint.
When I'm playing the warriors the CPU play no defense on the shooters they give them hell of space I be mad
The one with the cutting into the paint when you’re wide open for a jumper is giving me heart attacks. I try to grind on my career to get dimer on a post scoring playmaking sf but Damian Lilard will be wide open for a 3 but decides to cut into the paint where the 4s & 5s are and it gives me a turnover which messes up my teammate grade
when you get a steal but then you immediately turn it over for no reason so now the other team gets a wide open dunk because your entire team is already down the court
i lost a game with Al horford dancing instead of getting back on D
I hate when you miss a shot and your center has an easy putback yet he just grabs the rebound. Like grabs the rebound THROUGH the rim
The same thing happens to me all the time I honestly don’t know how to get a putback
how come wilt on the 71 lakers looks like wilt but the wilt on the all time teams looks like steve harvey
RIP Stan Lee :(
R.I.P
Rip
On Locked player modes, anytime the cpu is on a fastbreak in a 1 on 1 situation, your ai teammate will stand underneath the basket and the AI takes an easy uncontested midrange energy single time, and your teammates never learns. If they stepped forward just a couple of feet, it wouldn't happen.
when u press square once and its a reach in
When you’re driving down and open lane and he pulls up from mid range
I haven't played 19 but I hate that my team AI NEVER tip dunks, they always just come down with the rebound
Number 5 made me slightly mad even thinking about its so true 😂. An extra one, height meaning nothing in shots/layups. Yao can't lean over a small forward without getting a bump backwards animation for example.
2k19 is garbage. Everything is a turnover for me but when they do it it’s fine. I never make shots but they never miss
EddieHoff38 yo this happens to me every game bro
SoLLUMINATI’s Alter Ego I’ve admitted that I am kind of garbage at 2k but there is still some things that should not happen
Don’t forget the fact that every cpu player has that Kawhi Leonard defense.
@@cheesepuff4573 facts
I liked it day one but honestly it’s only gotten worse
When ur teammate runs away from his guy standing in the corner for no reason and they get a wide open 3
Happens all the time I hate it .. combined with all the other stuff it causes the cpu to get too many damn points
I just hated how I'll be dribbling and the CPU would push me out of bounds and I get the To
I hate when im clearly capable of guarding my guy in the paint n out of nowhere the computer will come off his man to foul mines
Word, the wide open cpu cutting into the defense is frustrating
What I’ve seen for 2k this year is that even if the transparent circle stays underneath the player you want to pass it to, sometimes the pass will still go to a random location. It’ll be times where I would see the circle underneath the players I wanted after the pass has been thrown to another player.
5:52 I’ve seen experienced a ton on 2K Mobile and it used to cost me so many turnovers and unfuriated me. Seemingly the moment I pass to an open player or while the pass is on its way he cuts in the lane behind a defender and they get a deflection or more commonly a steal. I feel like it’s happened less nowadays but also now if a player is open in the corner or elbow that’s basically the only time I’ll pass cuz that’s when he’s immediately open and there’s no one close to him
how do you play on that horrible camera
Ultimate NBA what? No he means 2k cam. Dom uses 2k low. Broadcast is trash dude.
Adhiraj facts
Ultimate NBA I love broadcast view. All day
It takes a bit to get used to it but u can easily get used to any camera
Sometimes when im on defence and the other team is on a 2 and 1 fastbreak my player will grab one of the players and the author player will be completly open
i hate when you’re driving for a layup or dunk and your guy pulls up for a mid range and u just miss because u don’t expect that shot
When you edit a teams uniforms and the bench players are not wearing warm ups. Also the nike logo on the socks disappear.
I can't tell you how many times I was playing on ball defense and the cpu just comes in reaches in for the ball.
i hate when i go for a midrange pull up from 12-18 ft out and i get a lay up animation
The unnecessary cutting to the basket is almost tear worthy
when the other teams PG is calling for a pick and roll from a big man and my C switches when I've already gotten over the screen and then the other teams C is wide open for a dunk
How could you not mention all the times a player steps out of bounds just dribbling out of the triple threat. It happens every game
Too. Many. Steals. I hate MyTeam Unlimited for this. Bump steals need to be tuned down
I hate when You get called for a 3 sec even though they’re literally holding you and you can’t move
This fighting past a screen or player after being magnetized to him is annoying
The worse thing is when you’re battling someone shot for shot and then your coach calls a random timeout.
When I the shot button on a fast break thinking I’m going to do a dunk or even when I lose my man to open lane in the half court set and go for a layup but get caught in a pointless pull up
And when I’m playing good defense and don’t even jump but use the right stick to contest but my teammate has to foul the opponent when he goes for a post hook or a contested layup, and it’s always when there’s a pick and roll situation.
For the last one... You know can control where the target playerof the pass moves? I mean you can control where you throw the ball relative to them
I hate it when I pass it to the person who is heavily contested in the paint even though im trying to do a drive and kick 3.
Also rebounding is stupid this year and don’t forget those dudes who play their starters the whole entire game
Trying to pass it up on a deep crosscourt pass on either a fastbreak or inbound, and the CPU wildly overthrows the pass over ur head and out of bounds
Honestly the most rage inducing thing is when a pure shot creator can hit a fade away in anyone’s face and anywhere on the court, and they don’t miss
Bruh.. the cutting in when open is the single most frustrating thing in 2k besides steal spamming.
Jack Spearow that double team spam has been my strategy since 2k13 it works all the time because the ai is so dumb lmao
When the foul gets called as soon as you press the button to steal and you hear the whistle before the animation to reach even starts, just to watch your hand clip straight through the ball and you don’t even end up touching the opp
I Hate when you’re trying to go for a layup but it gives you a floater animation for no reason, especially if I’m in the middle of the paint with no one in front of me
2k just make 2k like real life , like who tf does a momentum dribble in real life
Been loving these types of videos
I hate wen im losing the game plays straight thru but wen im winning a game the game will disconnect n give me loss smfh
2 on 1 situation *jj cuts to the basket* me “Dafuq”
The only thing i hate is shots under the basket going behind or under the backboard. Pretty much everything else i can understand or at least tolerate.
When I pass to a wide open shooter right before the shot clock runs out and he passes it back to me.
How about on a fast break when ur players are sitting in the paint even though your center is there already as they watch the ball get passed to their man for a open three
When I’m on a fast break and I throw an alley-oop to someone behind me and that person just misses the pass completely
Who else hates when your guys goes up for an over complicated layup and gets blocked by someone only in position because you’re doing a reverse or some other b.s
Another thing is taking a shot you don't want like when you're driving and try to take an open pull up midrange but the player instead continues for a contested layup, makes me wanna go play 8 Ball Pool instead every time..
or when u get the bs scoop layup animation when ur wide open under basket and I mean WIDE open but I guess ur too far under basket or something and u lay it up behind the backboard like the ball goes under the backboard and out of bounds but this only happens on a driving layup not a standstill layup so u can never tell that it’s about to happen bc ur under the basket or nothing like that
Yoooo when my shooters cut from the corner I lose it lmfao. I also can’t stand when people hit heavily contested shots.
The most annoying thing in 2k is if you fake a shot and the defender jumps, then when you go for the easy basket they get blocked by the guy you sent flying
Forgot to mention when you running point and then when you run to the basket and then a big man is open on the corner but he isn’t a shooter
