- People have been talking about the MP5 for a long time! It has been in every iteration of CS except for CS:GO; so finally, we get to use it in its silenced version the MP5-SD! Let me know what you guys think of it and I hope you enjoy the video :)

I think valve didn't want to mess up the balance like they did last time, but it's pretty ironic though lol
Don't think they'll let us take out the silencer. The mp5-sd has an integral suppressor.
I doubt you’ll be able to take the silencer off because if I’m correct the real equivalent has the silencer built into the gun

Suppressor can't be removed because it's an integral suppressor not an attached suppressor, it's part of the firearm itself

It is the year 2346. Cs:GO has over 180 weapons added to the game, but still no 128 tick servers and i get the VAC error.

In the inventory mp5sd's description it says that the silencer is intergrated into the gun, that's why you can't remove it.

I think that in real life, the silencer is permanently attached to the gun (not that csgo is a very good depiction of real life)
Nils Nyberg from what I’ve been told the silencer is detachable but the gun has basically a 2 part system where they did stuff to the gun itself

Yeah its cool that valve has been stepping up their game with new features but STILL nothing can top good anticheats and 128 tick servers.
The Unusual Dispenser the anti-cheat at the moment is fine, I haven’t seen a cheater in almost 2 months since the last few vac waves and vacnet update, and when I do think someone is cheating when I watch the demo they were just getting lucky and probably having a good game, also 64 tick isn’t even that bad, most of the shots you miss are probably 100% your fault

I guess it's because the mp7 replaced the mp5 when csgo came out and they just decided that they should have both in the same slot.
From your video I can say that its near balanced. Not strong enough to 1hk an opponent with hs. Movement inacc is balanced by the silencer. Great vid btw.

For usp and m4a1-s There are no advantages of detaching suppressor, only disadvantages like worse accuracy.

I think Valve probably had a purpose for it, but might have worried it would effect un-silenced guns, though I think earlier version it had higher damage or some minor change, but the only good reason currently is the reduce the size of your gun, so you can better hide around corners.

Bwen as I said currently there is no benefit for taking them of, but for some people it feels like they play better with suppressor of. For example houngoungagne likes to take it of, even though lot of people say that it is stupid. As you probably have been told by people, cs is also a mind game, so if you feel like you play better without suppressor, you just might be right. That's why i think they take them off. And of course they might want to try something new or just goof of. I know that I sometimes remove suppressor from usp in pistol rounds, even if I know that it is actually making the weapon worse. As for removing it to have shorter gun? It such a minor benefit, that you're better of just pointing the gun into a wall.

I don't see the point in it. Less raw base damage which matters on anti ecos where some people won't have armour. Less accuracy on the move, making it less aggressive a gun, yet it's an anti eco SMG which is meant to be very aggressive and for frag hunting meaning the running accuracy matters over the subtlety gained through using a suppressor.

Maybe they would release a new operation with a case along with the full release of the mp5sd (because it cannot be used in competitive) after the faceit major.
Everyone is making videos about the weapon, but look further, new gun means new skins you it, new skins new cases... yes CASES because I'm not imagining valve make a case only with mp5 skins. Probably we will see new operation and 2 new cases in short time ;)

I don't see it being a big deal with the suppressor. No tracer and doesn't reveal your position on the map when firing but given its an anti eco gun you're going to frag hunting and playing loud in people's faces anyway that subtlety isn't that important.
