I've known about this for while. Use it all the time. If you're building your own patches I would say this is the single most important feature to know about in Axe-fx, makes a massive difference.
Had to make a mental note that my mouth dropped open when you did this! (Closes mouth, thinks of how much this would have already helped in the last 6 months....)
Been a fractal user for several years now and I'm just learning about this feature?! thank you! side note. most used tip for me is your Eq. tip #24. keep up the great work!
I knew about this, but It's weird to me that this isn't default behaviour. Why not make it work like that by default, and it would only jump out of the menu if you double-clicked an amp,. or pressed "ok"?
Appreciate the concern, but I just use them for listening to Netflix or UA-cam in the background while I work, and they block the TV if they're vertical lol You think I'm mixing on HS5s when I've got two Genelecs in the room?? 😉
@coopercarter ok!👍 Between the 2, I only worked with the Yamahas and they are known to reflect issues in a mix extremely well, making them not such a great option for casual listening, but great for mixing/mastering and therefor I assumed you used them as a second pair for what they were intended. My bad! I do get it, though!

Fantastic!! What a time saver!!
Owner of an AXE FX II for over 11 years here and I never knew this either haha... Just checked and it works with the AXE FX II.
Cheers!

My jaw hit the floor while seeing this video. Life changing feature!! Thanks for sharing

Mind bottling. Thanks Cooper!!!
🤔 love it. Thank you
Nice. That's very helpful. Especially for cabs. Thank you.
Wow what a great feature! Did not know at all, thanks!
Thank you Cooper. Extremely helpful.
Awesome video! Never knew about the pin. That will definitely streamline preset building. Thanks for sharing!
So Cool😊
I live by the pin feature - I keep the Preset Levelling menu open so I can volume-match amps as I'm trying them out
Always great tips
Very Good and Very helpful. I have seen demo's with using the Looper to demo with to.
Yep. This plus the looper is a power move.
Supertip indeed, never noticed the thumbtack and i have been using fractal axe-fx's for at least 11 years haha!
I always use the looper as well. That way I don't have to concentrate on playing the guitar
Great tip. Can you record a clip with the editor and audition as you step through the pinned page? I have a Fm3
You can use the looper while going through the amps, cabs and effects.

how is this a 17 minute video?
Five minutes of yammering to get to " use the pin "
Lame
Literally every comment above you disagrees, but cheers 👍🏼🤘🏼
Agree!
If you sometimes feel those Yamahas are somewhat difficult to work with or sound off, those aren't designed to be on their side. 🫡
