@@bingbong2845 had the same problem and I solved it by disassembling it and spraying WD-40 directly on the mouse encoder!! I hope u find this and works for u as well as it did for me!
Was the connector from old battery reconnected to the new battery or is that a different connector entirely? It was not stated in the vid on what are the necessary steps needed to do after removing the battery 😢

If you meant the battery terminal, pls be informed that you can buy a replacement battery with the battery terminals already attached on the wire, so it would just be a normal plug and play replacement. Cheers!

That is a YES buddy, but ONLY if you want to use the mouse wirelessly. If it does not work when it is not plugged in, then most probably you really have a dead battery problem. 🙏🏼

Not sure buddy but it is a bit of a tight squeeze in there. We would say it depends more on the thickness of your battery rather than the length/width of it that would matter. 👍🏼

Yep, we just spliced the wire with the connector from the old battery and joined them with the wires of the new battery.
