I have the feeling that bitcoin is entering the 'maturity' phase. There will come a time bitcoin has little promise for fast and high gains, and then people will tend to move out of it. It will not crash, but it will turn into something like gold, and may finally be used as a somewhat stable currency to buy and sell stuff. Maybe that time is not far away? Meaning there will never be a million $ bitcoin?

@@haemind now, suppose bitcoint tops out around 150K or so and never gets any higher, then people will cash out and move to other investments. Then bitcoin starts to drop in value and stabilizes like around 75K or so. Then what else is it good for than as a kind of currency?
