It's like this song was written for your voice, it just matches so perfectly.

I love the voice you've brought to this song, but I mourn the loss of such lines as "why just a picosecond ago," which sits in my mind as a simply classic lyric.
Not only that, but changing it to "Just a few seconds", she's making the moment of ambush slower.
Picosecond means "trillionth of a second"
Joker is faster than a few seconds! He attacks within a picosecond!

@@grodcoyote6635 @The G Podcast PSVR/PS4 Reviews No, the original lyrics we're fine grammar wise. Not only that, in poems or, grammar doesn't always have to be solid, liberties can be taken.
And really, the lyrics that were change did not need to changed at all
"You try to run me through"
"You tried to bring me down"
If it we're to be grammaly correct it could've just beem "You tried to run me through"
"Bring me down" and "Run me through" Do not effect the lyric grammar wise, thus an unnecessary change. The meanings are similar, the enemy is trying to kill the player.
Then there's "You're spun in by the net you didn't catch in time." And "You spun in by my net, didn't think I'd catch you in time?"
The change here is also very unnecessary. It's tell how the enemy didn't see the trap they stepped into before it was too late. However, in the second half of the lyric in the change, the meaning is slightly different.
The original is solely referring to the trap that they enemy never saw, that they never caught in time, but with the new lyrics, it turns into a mocking question, asking the enemy if they thought they'd get away. This change takes away from the impact of "Never saw it coming" slightly.
So really, there was no need to be any changes. It kinda disappointing when people try to fix something that was never broken to begin with.

I usually don't like covers of this song since they don't capture the feeling of the original, but dang you really did an excellent job with this! The vocal harmonies and more prominent instrumentals were a great way of adding your "spin" to the song without being cheesy. Definitely gonna be adding this to my main playlist!
