Four cylinders mileage are always lesser than three cylinders engine. My friend he had recently bought a punch and he is getting mileage of around 16 KM/ liter in city and around 22 in highways with AC, and one of my relative he had recently bough a swift top model he is getting only 10-11 km mileage in city and in highways he is getting round 16 KM. Hence conclusion is with three cylinder engine you will get good mileage as compare to four cylinders engine.
