Thanks for the tips, great video!
I recently started experimenting with Assist AF and was a bit disappointed to find it doesn't work with RS3's control dial (the dial can only control the autofocus when it's set to manual inside the camera). That would have been such a good way to control AF without having to touch the screen while operating the gimbal.

Do you not have to hold the shutter button down halfway for continuous autofocus though? Just curious as to how you're achieving this on the gimbal?
    Thanks!

Hey bro I have a a7rv and a Sony GM 24-70mm looking to find a lighter lens which can be used on my gimbal. I use a ronin rs3 pro however the lens and the camera don’t work as well pls let me know thanks keep making great content

The RS3 should handle that setup without any issues. I've had much heavier setups on that gimbal. Perhaps it's not balanced correctly or not calibrated?

weard how nobody is talking about e-focus on gimbals, it allows for pretty good manual focus without needing follow focus

thank you this video is great, do you have any suggestion on how to focus best when there are more people in the shot?

I would set Subject Shift Sensitivity to low, so the camera won't jump focus all the time.

Hi Stan, Happy Leap Day! sorry to bother. Which is the best camera and lens for close up videos (YT content)? I am looking for a cheaper one to start with. Thanks 🙏
