You have done more to help me with the Roland than any of their representatives...and you are not even paid. Thank you, thank you and thank you again. Emma
Richard, please know that you are an incredible teacher and inspiration to us struggling to learn the accordion. Thank you, and thank you for posting this. Tony
Wonderful demonstration, not only of the various voices which can be allocated and used in "one touch" transitions, but also of, how, with musical knowledge and feeling, (dynamics), one can bring a "bog standard" tune to life - such lovely harmonies and variations. ********** Mike
I'm listening to this for about the 20th time and it sounds better every time. I don't usually make requests but would love to hear your renditions of 'Cool Water' and 'Tumblin' Tumbleweed'. Thanks again for All your wonderfull postings! Terry in Alexis, NC, USA
Richard - Another great job. Roland should be as involved as you in working with the other players by having workshops, etc. In this way more players would get more active in creating new uses for the V Accordion.
The banjo sound is already in the 1x, but since it's not one of the sounds in the default sets, you have to create a User Set for that purpose. You can do so with the free Roland set editor. I can also provide sets that give you many additional sounds, as well as a variety of accordion choices, if you prefer not to spend the time. Just email me at bakersfieldaccordion@gmail.com if interested.
Yes and no. They will play, but the organization will not be very useful. Also, the 1x has 16 orchestra sounds per set, the 3x only 10, so it just doesn't translate well. I have programmed a couple of sets and user programs just for the 1x. Email me at bakersfieldaccordion@gmail.com if you want more information. Richard
I really appreciate you playing style as well as the gorgeous sounds you squeeze out of the FR3X!

Enjoyed this Richard. Some of these settings remind me of my old Cordovox, especially at 2:15 and after.
