Thanks y'all for the THUMBS up & positive comments! I did this on a whim with not enough hair 😩and unsure how it would come out, but it wasn't too bad! Thank y'all!
This is what I’m rocking right now. Took me about 3 hours. If I want to be fancy and add curly ends, it may tack on an hour but it’s so worth it for 3-4 weeks of not having to do my hair
I like it for just-“I don’t have a lot of time nor money and I need my hair done quick.” Definitely an awesome inexpensive go to style! Very well done!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Just did my hair like this earlier and it’s my go-to style for time/ease. Yours look great! I actually prefer the free parting better and not the uniformed square parts, especially when being lazy lol. Great video as usual!
This style is my type of carryin' on! I find that product-light/free, bigger-braided protective styles make my hair so happy. In addition, given the heat, I can't imagine attempting to anything with more like 12 of my baby hairs at a time. This is perfect.
You always make every style look very doable to your viewers. Me and my friends call this "MacGyvering" a style. You use what ya got! Lol! I love it! I love that it doesn't look so done done. It's easy breezy. Effortless. I have been planning to braid my hair for weeks. But can't find the time. (Big Head Problems) So I might just try these! Thanks again! Keep 'em comin!
Omg I love this!!! I can’t do anything to my hair 🙄 and it’s so thick and natural nobody wants to ever do it for me for cheap 😫🥴 definitely gonna try this!!!
I learned how to do my hair because of you! ♥️♥️♥️I had been studying at UA-cam University 🤓for a while when the pandemic hit and it wasn’t safe for me to make my braid appointment. Girl, I was DUE for my braids and panicking. But I kept at it and I’ve been getting better and better at doing my own braids for over a year! I feel empowered. And I keep getting better. I know you said you aren’t the first person to do the version of the crochet 🧶 method you show on some of your videos (both with just braids and with bands) but I learned it from you. I so appreciate your calm energy and how openly you share with us. Thank you sis. It’s not a small thing to have imparted this knowledge with us; it’s so beneficial including heightening my already HEALTHY appreciation for how much skilled braiders are worth! 😬☺️❤️ Thank you 🙏🏾 sis!!!♥️♥️♥️
I tried this last night for the first time ever. They are cute and I made them a bit too big, but it works. Some of them are unraveling, but I'll keep trying.
Hi Jai, I just ran into your channel by chance, maybe...But I was looking for a tutorial on that same soft Marley hair. I will definitely be rocking my greys this coming week, life spared. Thank for that great tutorial.
#SuperCute. I've been delaying doing my hair because of how long it'll take but this is the look I'm currently wearing with my natural hair so I absolutely love it and plan to try it with the Marley hair for length and protective styling. Thanks bunches!!!🤗
I love all of the styles you do! I’m wondering how often do you switch your hair? I have a similar texture and trying to still figure what works for me.
Love your channel so much! Thanks to you I have been protective styling for almost a year and my hair has been on the mend! I'm going to try the mini twists next....3 different kinds of hair, perfect for summer/spring! Tha k you so much!
Thanks y'all for the THUMBS up & positive comments! I did this on a whim with not enough hair 😩and unsure how it would come out, but it wasn't too bad! Thank y'all!
Jai Marii your commentary always has me balling 😂😂🤣 I’m going to check out that brand of hair
Jai Marii it wasn’t bad at all beautiful
Jai Marii you did this on a blow out?
I guess I missed it lol but what kind of hair did you use for the twists?
Honey, I don't care what you do, what you do and how you do your hair, I will attempt to reproduce the look cause you did it!!!😘❤❤❤❤❤
This is what I’m rocking right now. Took me about 3 hours. If I want to be fancy and add curly ends, it may tack on an hour but it’s so worth it for 3-4 weeks of not having to do my hair
I did this to my hair last night and it came out perfect! I got so many compliments
💓
@@JaiMarii how many pieces did you use for each braid?
do you know if she is regular twisting or twisting as she twist?
@@TishMechelle regular!
@@JaiMarii Thank you so Much!!! It turned out so pretty!!
I like it for just-“I don’t have a lot of time nor money and I need my hair done quick.” Definitely an awesome inexpensive go to style! Very well done!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Yep! Exactly what I was going for!
Omg I love this. I had an appointment to get some done for 180.00 and I've cancelled it. I'm going to do these myself. I love it!
Just did my hair like this earlier and it’s my go-to style for time/ease. Yours look great! I actually prefer the free parting better and not the uniformed square parts, especially when being lazy lol. Great video as usual!
Who else doesn’t know how to do their hair, but is forced to learn during quarantine. 😂🙋🏾♀️
Jerika Bush even more so lol
Girl I learned how to braid my hair through the rubber band technique, now I can do them without..and everybody ask where I get my hair done..
I finally mastered flat twisting 4 months ago after struggling on and off for a long time
but now. I gotta learn how to do hair hair 😭😭😭😭
Me!!!

😁
I just did my hair and OMG! I love it! I think I did great for a beginner 🥰 I wish I could show you guys! Thank you Jai!
How long did it last and how did you seal the twist so they don't unravel
This is no doubt my next hairstyle. I wish I would’ve seen this before I did my braids. It would’ve been great for Vday
Love this style...being a new mom this is perfect! Quick and easy..”the I don’t got time nor a lot of money to spend on my hair” style
This style is my type of carryin' on! I find that product-light/free, bigger-braided protective styles make my hair so happy. In addition, given the heat, I can't imagine attempting to anything with more like 12 of my baby hairs at a time. This is perfect.
Girl you make every style look so good! I don’t think they’ll look this nice on me. Lol
They look so cute. I definitely can’t braid and on a budget. Thanks for your videos I really enjoy them.

I love how easy this is. Doing it tomorrow.

Thank you!❤ I wasn't sure how it would come out, but it worked!
Could the rope twist method maybe help?
Omg I love this!!! I can’t do anything to my hair 🙄 and it’s so thick and natural nobody wants to ever do it for me for cheap 😫🥴 definitely gonna try this!!!
I'm doing this for spring break. I'll definitely keep it for more than a day or two though.

This hair style method is so chaotic..... i love it! ❤️
Any advice on keeping my own natural hair from sticking out of the twists after a week or two? Thanks for the tutorial!
I'm going to try this on my hair this weekend. I'm a complete novice with my hair but this looks like something I can do.
Omg I’m about to try this! You made this so simple ❤❤
I love the Camille Rose coconut collection
This looks so cute!!
I’m doing it this week instead of the jumbo braids. This is cute!
Great tutorial! Did you blow dry your hair straight before doing this style? How do you remove rubber bands without damaging your hair?
How do you keep the ends together? Also, do you think it will look the same putting a rubber band around the added hair and wrapping around the braid?
You did this style in the exact way I imagined doing it. Thanks
I think it looks great. This is my next hairstyle. Thanks.
Definitely giving this one a try
Those are actually really cute
Ebin gel yes it does go white in your hair. Love your styles.....
My wife says...Thank you so much for shring! Going to do this today!

Your method for Marley twists came out so beautiful😍! I have to to try this out, also thank you for sharing how many parts you did its super helpful.
Jai, I love your videos. I've got the jumbo braids using your method without rubber bands. I love my hair. Girl, thank you! This video is on time.
I tried this last night for the first time ever. They are cute and I made them a bit too big, but it works. Some of them are unraveling, but I'll keep trying.
Sis, you did an awesome job. Looks so natural and neat. Great choice of hair as well.
You said you used 4.5 packs but how many twists were you able to make, sorry if I missed that part
Every style you do is a hit❤️. I’m def trying this.

I love all of the styles you do!
I’m wondering how often do you switch your hair?
I have a similar texture and trying to still figure what works for me.
I keep my natural hair braided 99% of the time. Cornrows under wigs, mini twists. or styles like this one. I dont mess with it much.
Never done my own hair extensions. You make it look so easy going to try it
This came just in time, I’ve done your videos and it makes it so much easier to work out
