This is what I’m rocking right now. Took me about 3 hours. If I want to be fancy and add curly ends, it may tack on an hour but it’s so worth it for 3-4 weeks of not having to do my hair

This style is my type of carryin' on! I find that product-light/free, bigger-braided protective styles make my hair so happy. In addition, given the heat, I can't imagine attempting to anything with more like 12 of my baby hairs at a time. This is perfect.

Girl, I was DUE for my braids and panicking. But I kept at it and I’ve been getting better and better at doing my own braids for over a year! I feel empowered. And I keep getting better.
