Dude you were still flying. Glad you got back up! 👏

Yeah, by that point I was away from all the exposure. So lucky I didn't hit that log!

Beautiful scenery and nicely filmed! I’ve never seen so many bugs and rocks flying at you.

Yeah, they were thick up there at the top! Definitely some beautiful views on this trail, though!

Crashing sucks, but the trail looks fun and get going fast. The good news is that you came out A-OK.

Looks like when you went off trail you saw the log coming up and over steered to the right to get back on trail. Nice OBE (Off Bike Experience)

I wasn't aware of the log at that point, just trying to save it, but yep looked like I over corrected!

It was a good thing I did not come down on that log, though, especially the edge of it! After that day I noticed there are so many deadfalls that are cut just barely off the side of the trail. Perhaps they should be cut much further back and moved further from the trail!

Yeah... if I'm going out for more than an hour or more than 6-7 miles, I'm wearing elbow pads - I have some thin Alpinestars for long days and for more rough days I'll do my Leatt pads, - and for bike park days my iXS elbow pads. Been fortunate that I've had on elbow pads for some of my worst crashes and came away with just some minor bruising.

I'll have to look into the A-stars. I tried some thin Fox pads, but they are just too loose around the elbow, even though the forearm is tight. Elbow pads are probably more useful than knee pads, honestly. Because whenever I crash my arms go out first to catch myself!

Hey bud, you may need a face mask to keep the bugs out of your mouth 😀
