That would be pretty cool, I'm all for a New Verde Beach. Doesn't even have to follow the plans of Verde Beach former, just has to be a completely vanilla build imo.

Wait, this is actually a nice idea. We can imagine that old VB was completely destroyed or become unlivable due to some disaster, so they moved to a new location and re-started as a new city. With an initially master planned core that went on to grow out in different ways around it

It's sometimes hard to believe where this city came from, the stories and lore that have been built, and the fact that it makes so much sense! From seeing the old freeway going down to downtown being replaced multiple times until it was little more than a glorified street, the way the lumber, farm and oil facilities have been redeveloped over the years, and just the general growth. Thank you for all you've brought to this series. It's been incredible seeing you grow as a content creator, establishing an amazing CPP community, and as a CS player with a well developed skill in this game. Not only that, but thank you for making the greater CS community a better place with your contributions and knowledge-base, and putting the pipes under the roads right where they belong!
    Can't wait for more, Phil!

This and Clearwater County are the YT series that defined CS:1 for me. Congratulations on completing such a monumental build that had such a profound influence on how I and countless others played this game. I actually got a little emotional at the very end of the video when the jazzy outro played for the last time. I'm happy to have been a Patreon for so long, and cannot wait to see what you wind up doing with CS:2. Well done, Phil. ❤

I am just glad to be part of this journey, your videos are entertaining but at the same time so informative of city planning! I've been following for the past year or so and I just can't miss a video. On to the next adventure in CS2 !

Thank you Phil for putting so much time into Verde Beach and actualizing our ideas and suggestions. Like many others who have been here from the start this build means so much to us like it does to you and has set a precedent in the entire CS1 community. So from the bottom of my heart thank you for doing what you do. It's sad that VB has come to an end but with all this experience and knowledge we can dream big for whats to come is CS2. Maybe even a Verde Beach 2 in CS2, as some comments mentioned? I think everyone here is on the edge of their seats to see what you'll do next and we are all so exited to see it and be here for it!

I started this series at episode 79 at the start of Playa Del Fuego, and immediately became hooked to this series and channel. Although I missed the first half, your design in vanilla was a strong motivator to push myself to actually focus on the little details and beautify my cities, since I put hundreds of hours into my builds without mods and still (mostly) play that way. It's sad that this series has come to an end, but I'm glad I found it and have stuck around to see it through. Thank you!

Just want you to know how much I loved this build! I started it at about ep. 50, went back and started from the beginning and have been watching till now. The whole series got me to start playing CS1 on my own and I've loved it ever since. Thank you for making the content, we all appreciate it!

The first time I came across your channel was Verde Beach. It was just after I had a major Mutliple Sclerosis relapse, rendering my hands unusable, so I wasn't able to play any games.
Watching you build Verde Beach helped me significantly, getting through the days knowing I may never be able to play again. Thank you for being there on a very difficult journey for me. Thank you for building something incredible.

You and this series have completely changed the way I play CS and I cannot thank you enough for it. Its sad to see VB go, but man it was great. Thank you for your passion and insight. I've been going to work for a year and a bit now and I keep watching and it never ceases to entertain me. It has flown by since 2020, thank you for that and I look forward to Cities Skylines 2 with you and the community. 😁😁

This was the first Cities Skylines video series I ever watched. I'd just bought the game and was struggling to get the hang of it and this vanilla build gave me a lot of guidance. Then Clearwater County got me into playing modded builds and I've never looked back. Thanks Phil and keep up the great work!

i remember playing simcity 4 for the first time after i had played sims 2 and being under the impression that after building the city you could play in it. this build, its narrative, and the specific care put into this tour really scratched that previously-unscratched itch. killer work, and thank _you_ for making the series phil!

Winter of 20/21 was a tough time and each Verde Beach episide felt a bit like a little getaway to somewhere a bit less terrible - have loved it ever since Ep1. Funny how a gaming series has a genuine positive impact on wellbeing. So thank you for that, Phil, and looking forward to what comes next.

I've been following this series from episode 1 and have watched every single episode; it really blows my mind how far you've come since that first episode. Verde Beach has given me so much inspiration in my own CS builds and has given me a whole new appreciation for the game and for city builders in general. So sad to see it come to an end, but thank you Philip for all the hard work and dedication you have put into this and to your channel in general! I look forward to all your future projects in CS2!

I’ve been watching this series for years now while finishing nursing school and starting my career in the middle of the pandemic. Coming back to it many nights when I was absolutely ridden with anxiety, and actively dealing with the nightmare that my life was during that time, this series and your calming voice gave me a sense of normalcy and relaxation. You helped me get to sleep and block out the horrors I was witness to, and I’m so grateful. I never ever comment on videos but this time feels special and I just wanted to thank you for sharing these videos! I can’t wait to see your channel grow more and your success to come with Cities Skylines 2.

Man, you almost have me crying. I found your channel in early 2022, watching Tutoria and such. I didn't start on Verde Beach until I got Covid that April. I'll always remember how it helped me get through that, especially that one episode where 'A Prayer For George' played 3 or 4 different times, lol I'm very sad to see VB go, but I am looking forward to all the new stuff you'll be making for us moving forward. I feel like crying. Found this Channel by coincidence and have been here from VB 1 I never thought that I will get emotional over an end of an Cities skylines series. But here I am and I wanna say thank you. Your content is amazing. After work, middle of the night, when I felt good, when I felt bad, on sunny days, on rainy days whenever a new episode came out I’ve been there. I could watch your content all day every day. You’re just different, the way you bring up ideas, your excellent way of explaining and entertaining as well as Story telling. All I wanna say is thank you so much for this amazing ride called verde beach. ❤️

I picked up this series when I got the game on console a couple of years back (now on PC), but the way you built Verde Beach truly inspired me with this game. But it was also a joy just to watch you.

    Thank you.

God, I've been watching this series since the mid-tens, twenties of the episodes? And it's been amazing watching both the city and your ability to showcase it grow in quality and complexity. Thanks for getting me into urban development as a subject of interest and CS as a very fun game to sink dozens of hours in without even realizing it. I hope your CS2 journey is just as fruitful as your CS one has been, and that another Verde Beach grows to hold a similar place in your community's heart.

Man, I've watched so much Verde Beach over time.
Here's a confession though - I love watching your channel when I'm feeling sick. Calm voice, calm game, great content that is low stress - you can snooze through an hour or two of it and the progress is measured enough that you don't feel like you missed out on a ton.
Thanks a ton for this channel and for keeping this kind of content coming.

I know you are done building, but I honestly loved this format so much. Sometimes, just doing a deep dive into the city is the best way to experience it and honor it. The way you always told a story with your builds of this city sets you apart. I would LOVE to see you do a series of "documentaries" from the perspective of a historian of Verde Beach talking about the eras, trends, developments, demographic and economic shifts of the city, etc. I think it could be fun and a way for you to showcase the city more, since we all love it so much!
