I've been going and looking up a ton of human videos over the past couple of days because my church decided to stop doing fine arts all together. I mean i understand why, most of the youth pastors have kids or babies on the way now, but i'll miss al the amazing performances. This is such an amazing human video, and i keep watching it over and over again.
I can't believe I never commented on this... This was one of the most captivating HV's I have ever watched. Watching it in the first round it brought me so much joy and it was such a fun piece. When I saw it the 2nd time in the 3rd round I was overwhelmed with the story and it touched my heart. This is a beautiful idea, beautifully done, and was annointed. Loved it guys!
Great job! I know you guys put in countless hours of hard work. Side note, don't listen to any criticism unless it's constructive. This was a great human video.
Hi, I am a human video coach from a small church in Colorado. I was wondering if you had any tips, or things I could specifically work on with my students? Next year will be my second year coaching and I am looking for ways to become a better coach and leader for my kids. Thanks :) And by the way, I got to see this live while we were in Anahiem, so so cool. Congratulations on the award of merit!
Thank you so much, Helen! And that's so great! I'd be happy to talk to you on Facebook messenger (Matthew Taylor).. Or if you don't have FB, we could email: (Matthewzt94@gmail.com)
Is there anyway I could get a copy of the edited track? I am teaching a human video course for CYT (Christian Youth Theater) and I would love to do this human video.
So are they allowing secular music now because the rules did say groups would be disqualified. Are their more specific rules for fine arts that I can check out. I Currently have a group going but have a track that isn’t Christian and is just a musical piece.
Here is the link to what the National Youth Ministry office has to say about secular music: youth.ag.org/Search-Results?q=secular%20music Ultimately, secular music is allowed in human video categories. However, as the article explains, who gets to decide what is secular music and what is not? We decided to use the song we did because it fit our story, our message, and our theme. It is more important that you base your music choice off of ministry than off of limitations, just as God is a God that does not save people using only certain, constrained tools. Hope this helps a bit. Of course, I am not the national office, and I'm sure if you had further questions, they would be more than happy to talk! :)
I absolutely love this!! Is it possible that I could get the file for this music? I would love to put something similar together for one of my ministry groups😊
Ugh, this is probably my favorite human video I've ever seen! I've watched it so many times and wish I could've seen it live. I do have a question. How do you get the first part to be considered one song? Because it's technically a mix of 2 or 3, isn't it?
Tales of Adventure Our first song was technically "Part of your World" by Carly Rae Jepson. We did splice in an instrumental track to change the mood, And then added voiceover to the instrumental. And sense instrumentals behind voiceovers dont technically count as a "song", It all falls under the first song, which is "Part of your World". Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the encouraging word.
Hi, I'm a student from a small christian school and we too put on small performances for like our highschool, and I was wondering if I could get the track also? so we could try to recreate it for a chapel?
Ill try and help! So its based on the stories of Adam and Eve and the Little Mermaid intertwined. "Ursula" (Satan) stealing her voice was like her pulling Eve away from the protection of God by tempting her with the fruit. Eve is seeing the effects of her choice through sin and suffering in reality now and unable to do anything due to her being "speechless." At the end, she is set free by Jesus.
I’m God.. it’s almost over 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 #itdoes

Oh my goodness, I didn't know instrumentals behind voiceovers didn't count as a song. That's seriously so helpful, thank you so much!
Could you send me an edited track ?
please
...
What music did you use for the Ursula/Devil narration? It sounded like it was from a movie trailer!
The background music for that part is from the live action Jungle Book Movie trailer.

Of course! I will email you the music, if you give me an email address.
Thank you so much!! janessap11@gmail.com
Matthew Taylor How'd you guys mix all the songs? Like, what programs did you use and such? Thanks! (Btw, this was great:)
Thanks Caleb! We just mixed the music in GarageBand on a MacBook computer
Lemme say, That's pretty impressive! I bet it took a long time! Did you have previous experience with that?
I’ve never seen The Little Mermaid so this didn’t make much sense... if someone could explain I would much appreciate it.
I was so confused by what was happening

Exelent
Just a bunch of jumbled up human video concepts.
