Congratulations Gina on your recent wedding - you and your Bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful. I loved the dress you plan on changing the neckline - could you show us how you go about this when you start adjusting the pattern? Looking forward to also seeing the bias skirt too. It’s so lovely having you back - you were missed.❤
Thank you, I'm so happy to be back! Absolutely, I've started filming putting that one together so I'll make sure to cover the neckline adjustment thoroughly 🥰
You look absolutely beautiful and extremely happy! Congratulations on your wedding and your huge accomplishment of sewing your own lovely wedding dress!! Also, congrats in sewing the beautiful bridesmaids dresses, as well! You deserve a gold medal in the sewing Olympics for that project! I am sure you will remember those 200 hours spent very fondly as you look back at what was a very exciting new phase in your life. Cheers to more wonderful memories and satisfyingly challenging projects to come in the future. Bravo!
Yehhhh your here...I can't wait for your video on sewing your beautiful wedding dress...every body looked wonderful...I hope with all the sewing going on you wi!l have videos of your step by step..congratulations on your beautiful day
I'm so excited to share it all! There's so much to come 😊 we filmed as much as we could but as you can imagine it was incredibly hectic so some days just had to get our heads down with the wedding day creeping up so quickly. There is loads to see though ❤❤
Ooh, I love that checked seersucker fabric! Absolutely gorgeous 😍 All your fabrics are lovely, but that's my personal favourite. The inspiration picture is cute, so I'm very interested to see how your dress turns out 😊 I bet you're looking forward to sewing at a more relaxed pace now your wedding sewing is finished! I hate sewing to a deadline, it sucks the pleasure out of the process for me... Slow and precise is my preferred MO nowadays 😊 But we all respond differently, so if you like pressure, go for it! It's great to see you back in my feed 😊
It's so beautiful, I wish my camera picked up the lurex thread better. It's such a lovely detail 😊 it's 20% off in their Black Fridays at the moment if you're looking to get some! So excited to have a bit more creative freedom and have sewing as more of a hobby again. I totally understand that it adds stress so I don't know why I thrive so much when a deadline looms 😂
That was such a lovely vlog. I can’t wait to see more about the dress and 🎉 congratulations. You’ve def got my interest with the check crepe dress. I’m desperate to see what you do and then maybe copy you 😊
Congratulations! Love all the fabrics. Would you consider doing a video about working with viscose satin since you like it so much? I find it beautiful but very difficult!
Ah thank you! Funny you should say that, I'm doing a sew along for the bias cut skirt with lots of tips for working with satin and on the bias. It'll be coming in the new couple of weeks 😊
Missed you! Congratulations! You looked so amazing in your wedding dress. Oh my goodness you did a fantastic job on your dress. Loved the fabric haul and sewing plans. I have a few McCalls pattern dresses that I love but the neckline is too low. Maybe in one of your sew alongs could you demonstrate how to rise the neckline? I’ve been trying to figure it out myself. I’m thinking of using some fabric I don’t mind messing up just in case it doesn’t work out. Looking forward to seeing you soon! 🧵🪡👗🥰
Ah that is so kind! I'm so happy to be back here, I've missed all of it so much. Thank you 😊 I can absolutely do that! I've filmed some of the making of the dress i mentioned in the video, specifically the neckline part but I can cover it more thoroughly in another vlog with a different dress so hopefully that'll be helpful ❤
First of all congratulations on your recent wedding, it's my first time visiting your channel, can I ask you do you follow a printed pattern when you plan to make your jeans?
Thank you so much and welcome 😊 I've been looking at ME2002 for the jeans, it's a design by Brittany J Jones. I love the pleats at the waist and they look amazing on her too. I might make the leg slightly wider and longer but everything else looks like a perfect match for what I'm looking for ❤
Absolutely! You could sew the bodice pieces together in the centre higher up and have the elastic channels coming down side by side. Hopefully that makes sense, I'll show you when I make it 🩷
Hi Gina is there a pattern number i could have of the dress you have on your dummy at the side of you please it looks very nice i love your new fabrics looking forward to seeing them made up i would be pleased if i could have the patter num thank you Gina .
Hiya! Thank you so much for watching 😊 funny you should ask, that dress is coming in the next video! It's a mix between the bodice of M8035 and the M8150 skirt but in the video I show how I've put it all together ❤

Wow great plans 😀 I want to know is it possible to bring the neckline around 10 inch up in a the McCall’s 8507 pattern?
Absolutely! You could sew the bodice pieces together in the centre higher up and have the elastic channels coming down side by side. Hopefully that makes sense, I'll show you when I make it 🩷
