Mike and Zee have the best DT reviewer dynamic (for me). I can't put my finger on it, but it just feels the most approachable of the reviews.
I’m done buying card games I have more than I need….wait this looks cool a nice subtle 2 player game, when can I buy it!😂
Just when I’d nearly convinced myself that I didn’t need any more 2 player games or small card games. Theme + art and, indeed, that subtle gameplay does make this one look very tempting
I can always use more 2 player games..
I wish Mike was still in Florida, these in person reviews with Mike are terrific.
Seems like something I would like!
Reminds me of 2p Coloretto in terms of decision space. Curious if I would have the same feeling after playing.
Seems like a game that's right up my alley. Tough for me to bring to the table though.
How is a 5 minute 2 player game with rules so easy that your grandma understands them "hard to bring to the table"?
What if in one of those three discarded cards at the beginning there was one of the districts? Is it just not possible to win like that then?
Reminds me of Hanamikoji and It's a Wonderful Kingdom a bit, but I prefer those two.
This game play felt so interesting yet it’s disappointing seeing the score of 7/7.5. Pretty sad ending.
Especially because Zee doesn't explain why he rated it much higher five years ago.
Any game play crossover with "Trendy"?
Huh? The original "Throne & Grail" got a Seal of Excellence (!) from Zee, so how come the improved version gets a lower rating?
he said it got a 6. Is that right?
The card size decision is just stupid. Pointless and inconvenient.
