Just for people who don't really understand why Jihyo was crying, I'll explain the situation: This performance was during their last day (3 day concert in Seoul) for TWICELAND Zone 2 Fantasy Park. It was an encore performance and their last full song. (They had a song medley for their top hit songs at the very end but it focused more on interacting with ONCE (their fans) and closing the concert). During their individual speeches after this performance, Jihyo mentioned how she always envied senior idols that had their own concert and really wanted to perform her own concert one day. She waited for 10 years (she started training at a very young age; around 8~10 years old. When she debuted in 2015, she spent almost half of her entire life training as an idol in JYPE.) for this moment and went through tough times. The memories of her hard work/effort and the amount of love she has received (which probably felt more real during the concert because of ONCEs singing along. Sometimes you have to really see it to believe it and numbers on a screen don't really show how much love and support TWICE had) was touching and it made her really happy to the point where she was brought to tears.
That's so wonderful. Many people have no idea just how punishing it is to be in the Korean music industry. I really love how much of the crowd you can hear in this because it shows just how loved they are.
I agree, I feel like Sana is too quiet when she sings, mostly because she is not very confident in her voice while her voice is amazing yet she just doesn’t have the confidence in her voice to sing out loud.
I think she's fine. She projects just fine when singing, she has her off moments where she's singing too softly and on rare occasions, replacing some uncomfortable notes with falsetto, but most of the time, she's audible enough
Not the best live to watch at first, but yeah, they have a great sweet tone. The one who cried is actually considered one of the best vocalists of this k-pop generation. The video didn't show it, but she has such a strong voice, no wonder she trained for 10 years! At the beginning they received a lot of hate (still to this day, you can see by the numbers of dislikes in their mvs) saying that they can't sing because they had cute and sweet songs that didn't show it that much of their amazing vocals (plus the hate that westerns have with cute concept). The hate really affected them, is so sad. To this day, one of the most hardworking groups out there, they literally release like 3 or 4 albuns and 2 japanese singles (around that) last year, and this year 2 full albuns and 3 japanese singles, Insane. You should check out "TWICE being professionals", is a compilation of them handling things on stage, and giving their 101% even on pratice, really interesting. They are also know for having a great heart, aways helping people, treating staff members well and etc. Tzuyu even choose to spend her "vacation" donating and visiting a charity with her mom this year T-T.
@@jamrose6322 Of THIS generation I would definitely say she is one of the best, just like a lot of vocal couches and singers said. The trophy may go to Wendy idk, but she is up there. I don't know if you have seeing clips of her actually singing (because in TWICE songs, they don't show almost nothing of anyone's full potential), but her voice is really strong and has good technique, besides having great stability while dancing as well. And I am talking only about 3th generation, because I don't think they can compete with Taeyeon, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Solji, Eunjin, Jonghyun, Onew and etc.

Momo is the main dancer of Twice, and she is one of the weakest vocalists (if not the weakest) in the group, but she is still a great vocalist, especially when she sings in her real voice!
