Are any of these compounds translucent? and if so integration into the outer glass layer of double glassing may have a profound effect in insulation property's.
When these phase change materials are used in insulation materials do the flow or are they viscous enough to remain in place?
I guess they remain trapped in the cellulose from the roofs and such.
how does the ice absorb energy from cooling fluid running through the bulding's air conditioning???
I imagined this technology being used to capture environmental heat on hot or sunny days, and release it later for space heating.
Wouldn't that also push up the night time re-radiation a little bit?
