Was on 20 Sqn Jaguars at Brüggen, I used to love the sound of the 104 engines on start up - the low rumbling noise that rose in pitch as the engine was spooling up before it petered out. Never managed to find the sound on UA-cam anywhere.
Cranwell still have a number of Jaguars which are kept serviceable for taxi use only (they are not airworthy) not sure on the times they taxi them though any longer as I am now stationed elsewhere.
Superb footage. I did a short spell in Jaguar Projects Oofice at Warton, 1980. Great fun and fond memories.
