You know, I nearly cried about this. It made me realise that not all anime has to be violent but spread peace and also that all the countries can work together in harmony without all of the wars we are having. Please realise that we can solve everything that is wrong in the world if we work together.
This show made me think even more that we can be peaceful (to an extent) if we actually try and not just think about the color of our skin, the language we speak, the way we worship if at all, everything we do that makes us ourselves. I think that the hypocriscy of our world is really hard near impossible to solve but we still are there for each other... for the most part at least, when we're not trying to kill each other. : )
Maybe mutual respect is the theme of Hetalia. If you love your own country, you can easily imagine that others love their own contries. Rest in peace, all soldiers who died in wars between nations.

I love cetlic woman and hetalia. I can't understand why we can set aside out differences to participate in sporting events but not for the rest of the time. You can look at UA-cam, you have people all over the world talking to each other like it is a normal occurance. Most of the time even after they find out what country they come from they still talk like nothing happened. Seriously why can't we set aside our differences and get along?
You know what? I hate it how many Hetalia haters say that we like Hetalia because of the Yaoi. Sure, that's the reason that most of us stay, but doesn't that actually make us wish that relations between two nations are great? The Yaoi is really a hidden message for all of us: world peace. When there is world peace, everyone in Hetalia are friends, but at the same time the world would no longer be fighting each other, united in peace. And I think in the 21st Century, we really are united.
