Chile looks really nice. And for the record the people are called Chileans
Awesome!
Ace why don’t you ask a random taxi driver for a Chilean restaurant?
@Ace
It made me so happy to see how friendly they were to you at that restaurant! It was so sweet how they introduced you to the Haitian chef.
Congratulations! You're channel's pretty big! I think it's growing because you're very engaging. I watched the entire video! If you're still in Chile. Try to visit San Pedro de Atacama and visit the Valley of the moon, observatories, hotsprings etc. They have the clearest skies in the world...Southern Chile is also gorgeous! Puerto Varas, Lake Llanquihue etc Cheers mate
Man Chile really seems Perfect for Photography! The Sky is Perfect!
Well, .. you should look photos from the atacama dessert, and its literally where worldwide telescopes are located, so yeah, its clear
They have observetarys in atacama desert 🎉

well its bc its been raining in santiago so the smog has cleared

Before its independence, Haiti was the top producer of coffee in the world. That is probably the origin of the cafe's name
You guys want to be first in everything but are last in everything
@@giniolamylol Haitians are first in everything! Haiti conquered all the ports in the world. Haiti is the capitol of all ancient civilizations.
@@giniolamy Why would you think that?
Ignore the payaso. You brought up a fact and he just stated an opinion. Maybe a Haitian woman broke his heart and now he’s bitter lol
that is exactly it.
Ace you're so personable you can interact with anyone. True Aquarius.
Drums and guitar at the same time!? One band man for real.
not criticizing, but the people are Chilean and the food is Chilean. glad to see one of the people i follow finally visiting Chile. i was surprised you didn't stop there when you were visiting Antarctica.
I have noticed many foreign has been saying that is difficult to find typical Chilean food in Chile 😢 we have a lot of places with fast food but typical food is quite difficult to find and we are used to eat Peruvian Japanese or Italian food in restaurant but we enjoy Chilean food in our houses (lately there are many places with food from Venezuela, Colombia Haiti specially street food from those countries)
naa, empanada, pastel de choclo, completo, maybe you went a fancy place?
its because the typical food is not in fancys restaurants, those typical food restaurants are in the "popular" area
Enjoying your Chilean videos, especially with the Haitian content. If possible, would like to see videos about the Afro Chilean community in Arica, Northern region of chile and their culture.
Hello, I am from Arica, and the Afro community is small but people, even if they are not Afro, do their dances, especially at the "Carnaval con la Fuerza del Sol". The community itself is not in the city of Arica but in Azapa.
In Chile before the arrival of the Haitians, Colombians and Venezuelans, blacks were non-existent since Chile was the poorest colony of the Spanish Empire and that is why they did not bring slaves.
Blacks never existed in chile , until the immigration of Blacks from other Latin Américan countries, and other continents a couple of decades ago. Chile was all South native american tribes ( los pueblos indígenas), then the the european colonists dominated the territory. The Blacks you see in this video are immigrants from other countries.
Haitiana and other caribbean people RUINED Chile and our lives. RUINED.
There's not a afro-chilean community, those are chileans with darker features and curly hair. Please do not bring your racial categories in our countries, is disrespectful
@@samvel_mmiiiI'm Haitian, and thanks for the info
I love the question you posted about the food and has the country's tastes changed. There's definitely a lot more non-Chilean restaurants than in times past.
I do hope you can get outside Santiago and try some of the countryside "picadas" for some of the truly great Chilean food.
As a Chilean futbol fanatic, let me tell you about Jean Beausejour, one of my favorite footballer in Chile. Who is also Haitian-Chilean player, probably see if you can meet up with him it will be awesome since you’re both Haitian!

Malísimo Beausejour.
Thank you Ace for posting this news. The people of Haiti have had it rough ever since they freed themselves from slavery. Freedom was their blessing but they have had to pay a heavy price for their freedom even to this very moment.
i’ve never seen someone eat an empanada like that hahahaa glad u enjoyed your time here!!! i love seen people like you, so respectful of the culture and exploring the city!!!
Moneda Palace is where the president of the Republic of Chile works. It also houses the offices of three cabinet ministers: Interior, General Secretariat of the Presidency, and General Secretariat of the Government. Located in downtown Santiago, it occupies an entire block in the Civic District, bordered by Moneda Street to the north, Morandé Street to the east, Alameda del Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins to the south, and Teatinos Street to the west. Answering your question, yes, our culture is changing because of so many Haitians, Colombians, Venezuelans, Peruvians and Dominicans who have brought their culture to enrich our Chilean culture with their music, food, and different Spanish. Other cultures that contributed to our Chilean culture are British people, Germans, Croatians, Serbians, Palestinians, Syrians, and French people, among other smaller immigrations.
My Haitian niece and her mother speaks very highly of chillean's hospitality. gracias
Is the Moneda palace open to tourist visits?

I love seeing my people all over the world smiling but still have struggle
Pisco sour is a drink before eating. That is the way we do it.
This is great! You always find your way to the right people. I can't wait to see how this goes. ❤
This was an amazing video. Thanks for showing the culture of Haiti and how day to day people treat you there. The Mestizo upscale restaurant looked elegant and pretty chic! I loved the drinks they made for you. Overall, you just have a way with people that's cool, a bit of humor, and humbleness that I really enjoy. Those girls were so funny, too 😂
Thanks again, Ace, for sharing this amazing video! You always give good tips for traveling to said location! 😎
The Chilean people do not want Haitians or other Caribbean immigrants
What's up Ace. I have been there too. I took pictures in front of it because it was close. Valparaiso is very nice too. Nice drive.
Beautiful adventure watching from cape town south Africa
On my 4th chile video, i was born in sweden but my roots are chilean, so i love to see this kind of videos. and im going to chile this year :D
Thanks for your video man !! I live in Santiago Downtown, near to La Moneda, I love how you speak about the city and how much your enjoy!! ❤
Good stuff, ACE!! Haitians in Chile. Man that's dope!! The girls were wilding😂😂. We need them wings😅😅!!
Hella Haitians live in Chile because it is the most developed latin american nation and has lax immigration laws. Many immigrate to the US later with Chilean IDs
Ha, Ace, I thought you went to heaven when you tasted the passionfruit drink! Great video. I'm amazed how you find friends so fast everywhere you go.
Omg 😱 I can’t believe you made it Chile 🇨🇱 I hadn’t watch your channel for minute, what a pleasant surprise!!! Please visit Valparaiso ❤ bohemian port

Hi Ace. Love your videos from A to Z. I wanted to say something about the logo on the dishes. It’s the Haitian football team that actually on their jersey. Thanks for bringing the world to us. 🇭🇹👍🏼💯🥰 I am a Haitian fan of yours.
Great job Ace👏👏 Our Haitian people are so nice! I like the way the Haitian lady help you
I just hope no more of them come to Chile.
Way to go Ace. I'm enjoying the Santiago videos. I would love to see you go up to the mountains and take a beginner snowboarding or ski lesson. Snowboarding was one of my favorite activities from my time in New England.
I really like the way you are. So agreeable and funny person.
Enjoy Chile.
I hope you find some chilean food, it's not much popular every where. But you'll do it for sure.
Omg I’m so happy you made it to Chile 🇨🇱 ❤
Oh Ace!!! You missed all together the vibe of Cafe Haiti. You are right. They sell coffee and there is plenty of choices to choose from. However the real thing there is the clients interaction. Its the real reason why they are reluctant to cameras. Most of them are businessmen at work. They break deals and agreements well away from their offices and make the real economy works. Once the players meet around a coffee or more there is a shaking hands or just exchange of business cards and back to the office where they can call the lawyers to create a contract over the agreements reached at the Cafe Haiti that is the way how the economy works in Chile. And it has been like this from many many years! By the way the coffee there is superb!
And legs, they (cafe haiti) are part of the famous chileans "cafe con piernas" that why can't rec the waitress
Chile is strict with recording, once i was in a big techno party with a friend, he was recording the lights and a woman went to confront him, and forcing him to show her the last pictures of his phone, he didn't want to have problems, so he did it, and of course he didn't record her, consider that many things are private, i guess when you are in public there is no problem.
Chile sounds like a dope city to be in sounds like their wine game is on lock

Hi Ace Wow! I am happy to see parts of chili, I see that it is hard to find Chilean food in chili. Your videos in Chile (my country) are very good, spontaneous, and entertaining. Keep it up! There are many places, hundreds I would say, in Chile. The north and the south of Chile are wonderful. Keep traveling and viva Chile!
Thank you my brother you love haitien the much
Prochin foi dit, you love Haitian so much. ok frem
I loveall your videos. The restaurant is so nice.
I don't speak Kreyol, but I speak French, so I understand almost everything! I just want to note that the Haitian lady speaks VERY good French too, not only Kreyol. It's like she used to live in France, aha. I loved it when she said, "Je suis fière de ma tête car je suis une Haïtienne et oui, je suis fière" (she pronounced this sentence in French, not in Kreyol, that's how I noticed how good her accent was). 😊
Palacio de la Moneda, that was what the lady says!
Welcome back to jamacia any time everbless family tv support u always
South Africa is super cold today so I am guessing it must be cold in Chile as well
En chile el clima es diferente dependiendo del lugar en el que te encuentres, el está en el centro, por lo cuál el clima es templado. Pero debido a al estación del año actual hace un poco más de frío. En Chile las estaciones del año son bien marcadas
I don't think it's cold in South Africa, unlike in Chile... Chile is a southern country.
I hope you have a good and entertaining stay in Chile. I would recommend, if you are walking through downtown as a panorama to climb the Santa Lucía hill, go to drink or look at something in the Lastarria neighborhood, then for lunch go to the Central Market (Mercado Central), there is good Chilean food, but you have to go early because they close at 4:00 p.m., then walk through the forest park and reach the Bellavista neighborhood and look for bars and clubs to spend the afternoon, it is entertaining and a tourist area.
Roll that beautiful "Ace" quality that is yours alone!❤❤❤❤❤
I have been following you for years now.
My GF is from Chillan! She said they are mainly in Santiago and Valparaiso, but they’re scattered throughout. Good people 👌🏻
Shut up, ni siquiera eres Chileno. Todos son bienvenidos si vienen a disfrutar y no hacer daño@@dexterjk9087
I've done some research about Cafe' Haiti and I've found out when this cafe first opened, they would only use coffee beans from Haiti to make the all the drinks. However, that's not the case anymore. There was also a cafe Haiti in Iceland but it was not a chain like this one. It was owned by a Haitian lady. It seems like they closed down recently. I was surprised to find out about that because they did really well, the locals loved that cafe'.
"Café Haiti" has nothing to do with other Haiti coffees from other countries, and is a Chilean chain and its owners are Chilean
@NicolasAndres6000 Café Haiti opened its doors in 1970. Alfredo Manbor, the founder of Café Haiti, owned a traditional Italian style café in Milan before immigrating to Santiago.
When this chain first opened, they used coffee beans from Haiti to make their coffee. That's why it's called Cafe' Haiti. However, this coffee chain no longer uses Haitian coffee.
@@emmalilou7176it because Haiti no longer invested in coffee production in the last three decades

I love my people. 😂🇭🇹 the sos pwa and ròch that they mention is something for the male private part that takes the numbness away to make you last longer.
I'm happy to see that what I knew about my people has changed since I lived there, chileans used to be very rasist but in your video I'm not seeing any of that so I'm very happy about that. Regarding the food you are in a metropolitan area which has more mainstream or turistic restaurants, if you want real chilean food you need to go to the smaller "no namers", the simple folks or maybe get familiar with a chilean family and they will most likely invite you to their house to eat
More of Chile!
Good Lordship and si si amigo Buenos niches desde Australia chileno perfecto 🎉😂❤😮😢 vamos chile
There are too many Chilean food restaurants, too many places with great stories but it is a shame that no one knows English in this country. If I had met you it would have been great
The majority who work in the Haiti cafeteria are foreigners, mainly from Venezuela.
The "bitters" in the Pisco is made in Trinidad and Tobago by a company called Angustura. So the name is Angustura Bitters. It adds flavour to drinks and food.
Love your videos dude 😊 Thanks to come here ✌️
😂😂 omg the ladies had me dying.
the typical chilean food is made in the house, maybe thats why ppl doesnt put chilean food restaurants, we made our own "pastel de choclo", our own "cazuela", we drink our own "terremotos" etc, typical chilean food is just "low cost food". thats why we dont have a lot of chilean food restaurants.
GRAN CONTENIDO
Those Haitian girls were able to match your energy Ace 😂
Hey, I love how you travel the world. I love the Haitian connection in Latin America. You should visit French Guiana next. They have a big Haitian population. They don’t get a lot of media coverage in English.

You are Top man. You are too cool.
Maybe you should go outside of Santiago bro like Vina del Mar. You'll probably find better food, better pisco, and better empanadas chilenas. That empanada you ate didn't look that great if I'm being completely honest 😂 Also, you'll get more of a Latin American vibe outside of Santiago.
