This is a wonderful tutorial. A field of Sunflowers on a nice sunny afternoon who wouldn’t love to inspired to give this piece a try. Thanks again for your video❤🌻
Lovely sunny painting, Harriet - love the sense of depth you achieve with the blurry background and sharp detailed foreground. Always learning from you. Thanks for your generosity!
I really enjoyed painting along with you. Sunflowers are my most painted and drawn flowers so thank you for the guidance and inspiration. I already want to do another sunflower painting because I didn’t have enough water control while doing the background flowers and I know I can do better.
I'm so glad you enjoyed painting along with me! Sunflowers are such a beautiful choice and it sounds like you have a lot of experience with them. Keep practicing and I'm sure your next painting will turn out amazing!
Delightful! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have seen a field of sunflowers growing near me and wanted to paint them. You have given me the tools and steps I need to get a satisfactory result!
Hello my favorite tutorial teacher. What masking fluid do you use? The one I have has messed up a few of my watercolor projects, including this one. I didn’t give up and finished it. But my masking fluid did fudge it up a bit.
Do you have a preference for tinted masking fluid rather than colourless? I’m going to purchase some and wondered which I should go for. Have you had any issues with the tinted fluid discolouring the paper? Thank you 🙏
Not so pro tip, create a ball from dried masking fluid... it's sticky, and it grips the masking fluid helping it lift off the page. Just continue to grow the ball with the removed masking fluid from future projects.

Thank you so much Wilma!
This was great. Could you do a painting with a rustic wood fence and some wild sunflowers? We see this a lot on farm lands.
I'm sure you can work that out from using elements of this tutorial

Hi Marcie, I am using Artist masking fluid by Winsor and Newton
Do you have a preference for tinted masking fluid rather than colourless? I’m going to purchase some and wondered which I should go for. Have you had any issues with the tinted fluid discolouring the paper? Thank you 🙏
I don't
Thank you 😊
Is that a bull terrier brush holder you have.😍
I think it's a sort of husky
😍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Did you say if you have to let the masking fluid dry? Before you start painting?
Yes you must

No I’m just sponsored by them to talk about their platform
